Did OK job first time.  Second time, VERY rude.  Did a VERY bad job.  Did NOT finish.  When I asked him to return to finish, he told me I should have realized he did not want the job.  This was AFTER he accepted payment.  DO NOT USE!!!!

Every other lawn person I have had picked up sticks before they cut - this man did not. I am disabled and a senior citizen. If I trip on a stick I do not see (I am legally blind), I can be very badly injured. Shawn Sims was going to come once a month then we changed it to every 2 weeks (he never got that, evidently). Last time he was here, he halfway cut my yard although he had no problem taking the check for FULL service. Left my yard looking like it was a vacant house. Texted him about the lack of service, no reply. He was due to return in 2 weeks, did not show or call. Since we had had some bad weather, I waited SIX WEEKS for his return. Finally fired his this morning. Had to get someone else to do the work. THIS IS WHAT HE TOLD ME BY TEXT TODAY - and I quote "Obviously I did not want your business, it was n't important to me. I haven't cut your yard. Duh!"

I like Mr. Sims' customer service. He called to be sure I was pleased with his work. He showed up when he said he would. He is now my new lawn care provider.

Three men started and finished in a reasonable time. They brought everything--a ladder and additional lawn tools. They were polite and professional. Mr. Sims and I agreed on a $40 fee per job.

They trim and blow off the dry leafs from lawn. The owner is very nice.

Mr. Sims arrived Friday before services were done. He arrived Monday and got everything done before leaving that evening. I have additionally hired him to maintain the lawn each week.

He's dependable and good on their word. They are always on time or even early. They came the day that I called to do the work.

They've replaced the bushes. They are good people. They charge $55 an hour for landscaping and have rarely taken more than an hour. I give them high ratings and will continue to use them in the future.

I contacted mr. Sims and he quickly returned my call. We communicated via text about when we could meet (which is so convenient!). He was on time and gave me a very good price. I love that he really seems to enjoy helping people solve their problems and come up with solutions that make your outdoors a better place. I am very pleased with the work and love my reminders to water my yard.

His crew were raking and bagging by hand the leaves and sticks, then mowed the entire yard then blew off any left over debris. Took maybe an hour...excellent response time and dedicated and quick workers.

I was not at home the day they came to do the job and although I wish I had been here, they did a great job.

Found Sim's on Angie's list and it had good reviews. Called Mr. Sims and he was eager to help me with a yard so overgrown I had begun getting neighbor complaints. I had been trying to mow my own yard but a lot of rain in a short period of time had given rise to conditions I simply could not handle. He was able to get to my yard quickly, called me with an estimate and began work immediately after I gave him the go ahead. Finished same day. Very courteous and professional. Yard Looks great. I plan to use him again if the yard gets away from me again this summer.

I decided to put a vegetable garden approx 600 sq feet in my surburban back yard, which had never been tilled. My yard had an extremely thick thatch of St Augustine grass, which had been growing I am sure since the house had been built 45 years ago, which was nearly impossible for me to break up. I rented a tiller thinking I could till it myself and tried to kill myself with it. I called several other landscaping, yard working, small to meduim equipment operators I found listed in the Rankin Ledger and on Angies list and was either told they did not do tilling, or they would do it if I got all the grass off first (that was what I was trying to avoid doing). I did get another landscaping company who said they would do it but it would run me between $250 and $400 to do it. I called Mr. Sims number listed on this site, he answered immediately and was available to give me an extremely reasonable estimate rifght away. His employees were courteous and worked VERY h****** the thatched sod for several hrs in the heat, I could tell it was difficult, but they never compained. They raked up the grass and disposed of it properly and tilled the dirt to my directions. They added my soil amendments I had purchased and now I have a very nice sized plot of veggies green and happy. I will be employing this company for yardwork in the future.

He just does a good job. They are always here on time. They get everything done. They tell me if there's anything extra they need to do. They are just a good company. I have been using them for a couple of years.
