The plumbing connection to my kitchen sink had compression couplings connecting the PVC to the old steel pipe connections feeding the sink. The hot water coupling had come undone (I think it became loosened during the recent hard freezes, and the water pressure finally pushed the coupling away from the pipe), leaving me with no hot water and a muddy mess way up under my house in the crawlspace. This was on a Saturday afternoon. I called Roto Rooter, and they had a plumber on the way within an hour; and he had finished the job within half an hour (and checked for other leaks and problems while under there). He and his assistant were very courteous and friendly. Although $200 might seem kind of high for a half-hour, the nature of the job (weekend call, crawling through the mud, over and around water and gas piping, and whatever other junk is in my crawlspace) made it well worth it for me. I will definitely call Roto Rooter again for the next plumbing problem I have.
Professionalism is rated a 'B' simply because I believe the technician was in training. I have no complaints with how at all, he simply has some room to grow in communicating with customers - for example explaining the payment options and the steps/details of how the 'Pay by Credit Card' option worked when they did not have a reader in the truck.
