Professional and Great Job

Mr. Henry Parker and his crew replaced a culvert underneath our driveway and repaired the driveway with concrete above it. He came out the day he promised, started our project within a few days, completed the work on time, and actually did a better job than what we were expecting. His crew cleaned up everything nicely, and even went out of their way to do some extra dirt work for us, even though it was not required. I highly recommend him. Very professional and dependable.

I paid Mr. Parker $1100 to add an extension to my existing parking pad on 12/3/21 and the next week I saw a puddle of water was left on the right side after raining. I informed him and after a month of calling texting and excuses, he finally sent someone to fix it but to no avail. My wife then called and he gave her a bunch of excuses and tried to make me seem like the bad guy because I had told him how I felt. Well, he promised my wife he would come and fix the problem but to this day the puddle is there after the sprinklers and rain. When I first met him I was happy to see a quote, unquote minority business man in the concrete business but now I see he does not follow up on his promises as his business card states. Now he will not even return my wife*s call or respond to texts. I see when he does the job right the first time, he get good reviews but do not count on him coming back to correct a bad job. His only contact is by phone, text or email. No office address to visit him. This business has terrible customer service! As 12/12/2022, the company has not honored their judgment, and the work remains unfinished. He has not reached out to us since before the judgement in July of 2022.

Good work

The driveway looks great but there are some problems that I am concerned about. Cracks are forming and since the invoice does not state the type of cement poured, our verbal conversation was that it was to be fiber. I do not like the way if was poured over the ditch because it's only been a month and since it started cracking within a week, I am very concerned. As the value for money, I don't know yet. Although I do know that cement cracks, it should not have cracks forming within a week of pour. The method of cover and design is well done except where it meets the street, yet there are things I would have done differently . I recommend him for the design quality, but get a written detailed invoice.
