Rich is professional, courteous, reliable, and does quality work. In addition to multiple smaller projects, we needed the cabinets in our laundry room raised in order to accommodate our washer and dryer. I was dreading this project and feared that it would involve considerable time and expense. Rich was excited about the project and accomplished it in under 90 minutes. He took the time to touch up areas where the paint was nicked and worked with me to make certain that I was thrilled with the end result. He analyzes every project no matter how small or large and takes the time to do it correctly. Moreover, he returns telephone calls and shows up when he says he is going to.

Rich was very professional and courteous. He was a pleasure to have in our home. He had to make several trips to allow the Sheetrock time to dry and he would come back and sand it down. Despite all the sanding he kept the dust to a minimum because he vacuumed as he sanded. He replaced some chair rail which was comprised of two kinds of molding. He made it match perfectly. Overall it was a great experience and should I need anything again, he will be the first one I call. His price was very reasonable too.

Very quickly responded to my inquiry.  On  time service.  Great attention to detail.  Excellent quality of workmanship.

Having recently moved into a "new" home, I had a long list of handyman tasks that needed to be completed. I left a message for Rich Korthauer of Rich's Home Improvement on 6/25/14. He returned my call about 2 hours later. He was in the midst of a large painting project but said that he could make several short visits to my home in the late afternoon if that would be amenable. (He lives only a 5-minute drive away from me.) I agreed, since only one of my tasks was urgent. He offered to come and get started the next afternoon.

Rich arrived when promised and got to work. He made several visits over the next 5 weeks, primarily because I kept adding repairs and improvements to my list! He probably completed 18-20 tasks altogether, and he did consistently fine work, efficiently and quickly. The tasks included touch-up painting, assembling a new bed, making an additional supporting leg for the bed frame, installing a new shelf in a closet, repairing an existing shelf, filling and staining holes in cabinet walls, improving a toilet's performance by replacing two parts, and repairing sliding shower doors.

He worked around 5 hours altogether and charged $267, which included the cost of parts and supplies.

Rich was a real pleasure to work with. He's intelligent, personable, professional, reliable, and highly skilled. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again when the need arises.
