GREAT JOB BY BRYAN AND HIS ASSOCIATES

On the original service call in middle of April gentleman was courteous. As I had had to have the unit charged the previous summer I asked that he check for leaks. The coil, which was still under warranty, was leaking. He gave me an est of $400 to $500 for the labor on replacing the coil as the warranty did not cover the labor. At that time I wanted to wait as I did not have the money to pay for the svc call that day and for the labor a week later. However, approx a month later (middle of May) the unit again quit working. I called Mr. Kinsey and requested that he order the coil and schedule me for the repair. He said it would be the following Mon or Tues before he could get the replacement part in and that he would call me to schedule the service. He wouldn't recharge the unit at that time without charging me another svc call and for the coolant. I felt that since he was getting the warranty work as well as $500 labor work he could at least knock off the service charge but he wouldn't. The following Thursday I called to find out what was the hold up. He said he didn't have the coil yet so I asked him to recharge the unit. This time he did so at no charge but he was very short and somewhat rude. As this helped my unit work properly I didn't worry much until the middle of June when it again quit working properly and needed charging again. At this point it has been approx 1 month since he supposedly ordered the coil. He told me he didn't have the coil yet and that he could not recharge the unit again at no charge. I waited another 4 weeks for the unit to come in. Finally I couldn't stand the heat any longer. I called him wanting to know when my part was going to be in. He told me that the company no longer made the coil for this unit and that he didn't know if he could even get one. He said he would have to manufacture something himself but that it would be at least another week and probably longer before he could work me in. By this time it's been 2 months since he supposedly ordered the coil so i was fed up. I called another company. That company came to my house that afternoon, recharged my unit, ordered the new coil, came back the next day and installed it and only charged me $590.00. I had already paid Mr. Kinsey over $200.00 for the original service call and then he was going to charge me another $500 to install the coil. With the other company, (whose reputation I already knew and it is good), they had to drive a long distance to get to my house so their service charge was higher because they had to charge for drive time. If not for that, they would have been able to complete the original service call and the coil replacement combined for less than the estimate Mr. Kinsey gave me for replacing the coil. I will never use Mr. Kinsey's company again and I would not recommend him to anyone because he took so long to even get the part, and then told me something about the part that I find to be questionable.
