Ur Way Construction

George was recommended by my boss who is in the real estate business. He will no longer be using George after what he did...or rather didn't do.? Perhaps he is a nice person, but not a good contractor, manager ...Well, I take that back. No "nice" person would leave a paying customer in the gutter. The outside looked a little prettier afterwards but the bandaid did not last long. I have recorded conversations of him saying what he was going to do and photographs of the whole project. From the beginning, George was a salesman. This is not the problem. As he was examining the roof, These are the things that he promised for $2500: House Repair George Quote $2500--Notes 8/09/09 -Drip Edge and edges on all roof -Metal flanging on all roof needed -Cut Shingles to make roof look better -Make sure there will be no place for roof to leak through gaps in shingles or in valleys etc.-Fix valleys where weave is off -Correct badly repaired nail holes -Correct splattered tar look -Replace Rotten wood--- -Nail and caulk spaces in wood around outside of house -Fix slanted gutter left side front -Paint complete outside of house including porch -Correct vents--New boot--Put metal under shingles -Repair roof where damaged from walking on rook when roof was hot (damage from previous repair) -Fix makeshift water catcher on back of house where all the tar is splattered -Correct front ridge where shingle is sticking up -Spray mildew and prevent mold---Spray ceiling entire in garage and repair where drywall damaged and adhesive is hanging *Materials included Roof to last at least 10 years He wrote on the contract everything but(-Correct vents--New boot--Put metal under shingles -Repair roof where damaged from walking on rook when roof was hot (damage from previous repair) he also said I had to pay for all the materials. I agreed. He was then gone in a hurry. He sent 2 men and a woman who walked around, sat, smoked and handed stuff to the guys. George said that he was going to treat us extra well because AJ was deployed at the time. He said that he was bringing in an expert roofer to fix the really bad parts of the roof. ----After the Job was supposedly completed...Contact became more and more difficult. The roof insulation in the garage cracked and fell. They had to come back three times and now there are just more areas than before falling down. After the first rain, there were no leaks, but my front planters began to flood. They had never done this before. I called...and called...and called...and called...Sometime I would get an answer. George would say that he was going to send Mario to fix it....This happened 4 times. I never saw Mario do anything. Every time I would call, George would say that Mario had come and had just not knocked on the door. That is ridiculous mainly because the flooding still occurs. I am writing this is the middle of a tropical storm 2 and a half months after the horrible repair job by Ur way construction and George Junkert. I am having to go outside and empty buckets to stop the flooding of my front porch which has happened every rain since the repair. I have found a leak over the water heater and am frantically searching the roof for leaks, especially in the valleys. ---George claims to be a born-again Christian. Even if he gets any good reviews, believe me, he is not worth the risk. The paint job is fair yet, he did not replace all the rotten wood. Well, "He did nothing anyways, his subcontractors did.The subcontractors did work hard. They arrived early and worked late. However, the first day, they left trash in my yard, and I realized that they did not speak English well. Communication was difficult.
