My car was overheating for no apparent reason. Made appt for 7:30AM; showed up early and car was checked in by 7:40. However, it was after 9:00 before work began--why exactly did I make the appt, again? A little before noon, a service advisor finally came and explained they had found the problem (failed cooling fans) and that due to the overheating (which was caused by the failed cooling fans) the belts and oil needed to be changed; my extended warranty would cover the fans but not the belts or oil change. I felt the other services should also be covered since they were necessary ONLY because of the failure of covered parts, but no. They told me the cost would be about $250 and I said OK. About 10 minutes later, a different service advisor came by and said they had decided to cover the other services. I said thanks. About 90 minutes later, I was told the work was finished, signed the repair order, and took my car. When I got home, I checked over the paperwork I was given, and found the belts HAD NOT in fact been replaced, even though I had agreed to pay for the service and later was told the service would be accomplished at no charge. Had I not thoroughly checked the paperwork, the belt(s) could have failed at an unexpected time. I called Pat Peck Nissan and asked to speak with the service manager, left messages/my name/number, but never received a return call. It seemed as if my repair/service was given a lower priority since it was being completed under an extended warranty, and additionally all required/requested work was not completed. Any future work performed under my extended warranty will be accomplished at another Nissan dealership.

I purchased my 2010 Nissan Frontier from this dealership and have taken the vehicle back for all of its maintenance. I received a complimentary oil and filter change. The service advisor was very courteous. I was in and out in less than an hour
