Coastal Improvements

Bottom line: Great! First team only worked 9am to 3pm. Second team worked longer hours. Lots of leaky places because structure was so level rainwater wouldn't drain. However, Darryl came back 5 times. He chased each leak down and stopped it, even applied some creative solutions. Always showed up when he promised or he called. Result is a most enjoyable sunroom - only Tropical Storm Cindy overwhelmed the drainage system at the bottom of each window a little. We would definitely recommend Darryl and Coastal Improvements.

At first I was very happy with the job .9 months after the job, I have had to re paint half the things I paid them to paint. They used very cheap paint(apartment grade according to the paint store) and the prep work they did was very shabby . On some things, I could literally peel the paint off in large strips off the wood work.

I found them via a web search and sent an email inquiry.  Darrel was very responsive with information and gave an estimate based on my measurements.   Chip came out and measured and recommended a different framing pattern, reducing the amount of frames required.   The end result is a more wide open feeling and makes the room seem larger.

The installation was one person and took 2 days but he was very professional and attentive to detail.  

I would definitely recommend them to others and would have them perform other work at my home in the future.

Punctuality was the only distraction ... however in the builders' defense, this deck is one of a kind and many times bigger than a traditional deck.
