LOWE'S

I had a fence put up cross my backyard to replace one that my neighbor had that was falling down. that was subcontracted through Lowe's here in Greenville. I bought the material there and they had the contact to come and install it.

They had one of their salesmen come out and he worked up all of the information. He is an employee of Lowe's. They had a contractor that also subcontracts through Lowe's. All the billing and everything came through Lowe's so all I know is, it was Lowe's.

I shopped Lowes floor covering department for floor covering installation info. I was quoted $1.99 per square foot for installation of flooring. The contractor kept the appointment for measuring. I was told that Lowes representative would call to give me information about ordering the material. They never called. I went back to the floor department to visit the rep. He pulled up my information. At this time he added fees for installing molding, added fees for installing under covering and added fees for removing old covering. I can understand adding fees for removing old flooring but the original quote was for installation. I did not like adding fees. I got mad and left to find another provider and contractor.
