Buds Marine and Small Engine Repair

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Great troubleshooting skills. Only asked for $10. I gave him $30 due to time spent troubleshooting. Would have cost more if I took my mower to a dealer for repair.

Runs great! Replaced the alternator and fly wheel with used ones that work just fine. While I marked that I went to his location where the service was performed he actually picked it up and delivered it afterwards.

I took my parents' 10 year old Troy-Bilt self-propelled mower to Bud when the starter cord recoil stopped working. I asked him to fix that,
change the oil if needed and sharpen the blade. I also told him to make any repairs that he would make if was his mower. After inspecting the mower, he discovered that the muffler had detached and melted a plastic part of the frame. He replaced the muffler with a used one he had. Changed the air filter, spark plug, oil and sharpened the blade.
Mower cranked on the first pull of the starter cord and runs like new. I am extremely pleased with the service and value Mr. Bloom provided.

WONDERFUL! Dropped off on Thursday picked up the following Saturday! Reasonable prices and friendly service! Decided to try another repair service as the one we usually use in Pascagoula takes 3 weeks at least turnaround time and is very expensive. Very pleased with Bud and will use him again! Don't be afraid to try! Will be taking all our small engine repair items here in the future!

Called on a Thursday brought mower to him on Friday morning picked up mower on Saturday morning.

Diagnosed the problem, replaced the spring, belts, blades and oil all for $104. Pretty impressive!

I delivered the mower to Bud's small engine repair. Problem was the carburetor but he also found a broken part and replace that as well. Took about 10 days and about a week of that was waiting for the part to arrive.

Have been using Bud for two years. He repairs all kinds of small engines. His service is always professional and quick. I appreciate his pricing policy. Bud charges his price for parts and $25/hr for labor. There is no charge for local pickup and delivery. He has kept my old riding mower running for three years now.
