ROSS FURNITURE CO

I really wanted to try a different brand than the one I had used for 25 years. I was desperate to get a new settee recliner. When I told the salesman what I wanted he said rudely, " You need to leave. I cannot help you. Go ahead and leave." Why I did not do that is something I will wonder about the rest of my life. I came to find out this was the owner of the store. I was so desperate that I talked him into selling us one of two models that he had. We leaned all the way back in these floor models and they were very comfortable. When we received the settee it was not built like the floor model. One could not lay all the way back because it felt as if there was a large metal bar under your lower back. It was terrible. This couch was really terrible. We could not recline in it more than half-way. I have come to know that Ross Furniture is not known for good quality products. We called the man and tried to explain our dilemma. He was very rude and I mean extremely rude and said they that in no way would he take the settee back or replace it. We used it for a year and really suffered. So we gave it to charity and paid another $1200.00 for another settee. Don't use Ross Furniture for any reason! It is horrible stuff. And the man who owns the store in Flowood, Mississippi is meaner than mean. He is so mean to his customers that it is safe to say he is mentally unstable. No one treats a customer like that!
