Jim has completed several large projects w perfection and courtesy, from minor to major interior and exterior issues. He successfully worked around an elderly w dementia as well. We would highly recommend him for repairs and improvements!

I had new shingles installed due to hurricane damage. The estimate was very fair and I hired Jim to do the replacement. Had delays that were beyond Jim's control; rainy and cold weather, shingles had to be ordered and shipped, but when the conditions were favorable, he was working deligently. He explained what work was done at the end of the day and kept me advised on what he was planning on doing the next day. Very thorough and cleaned up at the end of every day. Extremely pleased about the new roof. Very professional. Highly recommended.

I asked Jim to come out and install ceramic tile and complained about coming out for an estimate. I had to pay him $40 for him to come out and take a look at it. He never worked a full day and wanted half of the money for the work when he only worked for an hour the first day. He complained the whole time while working on the job as if he hadn't come out before and taken a look at it. I bought gloss to put down after the floor and he didn't put it down, on top of that I had to clean up his mess and he left. He was vaping in my home as well and admitted to me that the IRS is after him. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone.

I hired James Jim and to install laminate flooring in a kitchen, dining room and foyer. I was very apprehensive about hiring someone to do the job after being a victim of unscrupulous contractors in the past. From the first encounter, I could see that Jim was not one of those. If he said he would call at a certain time, he would call, if he said he would be on the job at a certain time, he was there. There were some unexpected issues that came up with the installation due to the age of the home but he explained what needed to be done and found the solution to make everything work out. My new floor is beautiful. He was meticulous in his work and even went the extra mile to level my old stove. He made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. Jim is a man of integrity and conscience and I trust will trust him with all my future home improvement projects. He was a blessing.

I am new to the Gulf Coast and recently purchased a home here. The house I purchased needed some TLC in the Kitchen, Dining, Living, and Family rooms. I found Jim through HomeAdvisor and I am so, so, so pleased with his work. He was always on time, worked with my strange schedule, was very personable, and did a FANTASTIC job!!!!!! I 100% recommend him; he'll quote you a more than fair price, get the job done in the time frame that you need, and his work is OUTSTANDING. I will be hiring him again soon for other home projects!!!! 10/10 would recommend.

Complete transformation of 3 rooms in our home! James is a real magician with drywall finishing! seriously! These spaces are better than ever! Very energetic and personable crew with the ability to do actual great work work. I can't say enough about the super communication of how each project was going to go and all the way until it was done. Very professional with tremendous attention to even the smallest details. Mr. Beckner made sure the finished product was up to his high standards before signing off. I would recommend hiring this company to anyone and he will be who we call in the future! What a blessing!

Mr. Beckner was very thorough and very professional. He not only completed all of the work on time and on budget, but he was able to introduce and advise us on technical and aesthetic options that we had not considered. We started with some simple interior painting and upgrades and ended up opting to do more based on the quality and value. We highly recommend him for his craftsmanship and work ethic.

He is just wonderful! Unfortunately, he moved away back to Mississippi and we are missing him so badly! He had done work here for everybody and was known in the community. He is trustworthy, responsible and has a great work ethic: I could trust him with the key to my house and never have to worry. I can't say enough good things about him!
