Jay did a great job for us. We could not be more pleased. Very professional and he does ex work. Uses top quality lumber. I would definitely hire him again or recommend him to anyone who needs a deck.

We had a covered floating deck built, and an old pergola torn down. Jay and his son did such great work. Nothing but screws. No nails on the build. The details, such as rounding the edges, were extra nice. Showed up on time and worked in such awful heat to give us our dream deck. High quality materials and work. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

Mr King is very professional and he explained all the details along the way. He even found a way to work around a few challenging grades in our yard and made it all come together. I would recommend him highly. Quality is top notch.

Jay King brought a cracker jack team with him to complete this project. An electrician/plumber/HV AC technician (Billy Goff) Who installed 220 where needed and changed 220 to 110 as needed. He re-worked all the plumbing underneath the house not to mention taping the seams of ventilation. His dad Mr. Goff senior who is a fellow veteran and journeyman tape/floater and painter also did an excellent job. They (Jay & Billy) removed the washer and dryer out of the kitchen. Jay installed kitchen cabinets, countertops in the kitchen and totally rebuilt my garage utility room and converted it into a laundry room including a brand new door along with a fan/heater on the wall, to regulate room temp. Billy installed a KitchenAid dishwasher in the kitchen, dryer vent and hot water lines (laundry room) for the steam dryer and wash machine. He also installed a Navien 240-A tankless water heater on the wall, overhead light complete with paddle light switch along with repairing the sewer gas pipe by converting it from cast iron to PVC and took it through the roof. Jay installed (laundry room) new joist, sub-flooring, Vinyl flooring topped off with indoor outdoor carpet, some beautiful shelves and a clothes rod. They removed the old 50 gallon water-heater out of the linen closet where Jay installed a new floor and a four tier shelf system that you would have to see to believe (It is so great). Now my kitchen looks like a kitchen and my linen closet looks like a linen closet, in addition I now have a dedicated laundry room.

Mr. King built our porch. We love it! He showed up on time and built it in about three days. We will not hesitate to hire him again!

Jay did a great job of screening in my patio, the price was less than others and the job didn't take an unreasonable amount of time.

He was very flexible with our schedule and made allowances with my request for the footings on the pergola. It looks great!

Jay did a very good job. His price was reasonable and the finished product, painted shelves for my laundry room, look great. He made shelves that were sturdy and they will hold extra appliances and weight shouldn't be an issue.

We had a deck and patio cover installed in August the deck looks great but the patio cover has leaked since his workers finished it in August and his workers made a mess on our roof with black tar and it still leaks - they used the wrong size wood on the patio cover frame messed up the flashing (they put flashing over the shingles) and then got black tar on everything and now he shows up when we call him with a tube of caulk and tries to patch everything. I spent $3500 for a cover that has leaked since it was finished! Jay is a very nice guy but I want my leaks FIXED! I am ready to call a roofer and send Jay the bill.

In March 2016 we hired Jay King: DBA as Kings Woodworks to build an addition to our home (Sunroom). Unfortunately, we are still living through a nightmare. It is now November 27, 2016 and the room is unfinished. No work has been performed by Jay since April, 2016. Please refer to a state bureau complaint : Kings Woodwork initiated May 22, 2016. Jay acknowledges responsibility. We have not received any repayment of the draw he received from us, nor any payment for damages incurred to our current residence. We were to receive payment monthly, beginning in August, 2016. November, 2016 is almost over and nothing of the $16,000 originally received. We are senior and are attempting to do some of the work ourselves. I continues to rain into our home as a result of the shabby work performed. See state bureau report. In accepting responsibility, and paints himself as the victim. So I will not say "run", just read the report and decide for your self. Oh, he has a rating of 0.5, however the system would not allow me to do less!

Jay and his team were terrific. They were professional in both workmanship and execution. My wife and I completely support the other reviews. Jay and his teams attention to detail and customer service are uncommon these days. When we first contacted Jay our outdoor area had become a source of concern. It has now been restored to a place of pleasure. Thanks guys.

Mr. King was professional and was able to adapt my conceptual designs into finished products. He was able to incorporate design modifications without negatively impacting the job. The finished project is nicely done and something I am proud to display. Thanks Jay!

I needed to find a skilled wood worker to perfectly miter various types of trims all around the exterior of the house. I knew Jay was the right craftmans when he, "I do not use caulk to cover mistakes." The joints are literally invisible!! Jay King is prompt dependable, courteous, and thoughtful. He was very pleasant to have on the job. Jay works very efficiently and plans well, with a well trained eye for detailed. I have already referred him to others, and look forward to his continuing on other phases of this remodeling project. 5 stars are not enough!

Love the garage. Jay built & installed cabinets, racks, shelves & bins for our garage organization. Work ethics, job performance,attention to detail...all top notch. Five star rating for King's Woodworks across the board. Definitely recommend & will definitely hire him again. Very satisfied with his work. Great job Jay!
