He said he would come back after it finished raining to adjust things but he never did. Now my house is worse than it was.

He was on-sight during the job supervising the dig, the footings, the jacking, and the floor patching inside.  He said that he?d take care of us and we really felt like he did.  He gave us a summary report with estimates.  Overall, it wasn?t super specific, but he was more than willing to answer any questions we had.  The job took two days total ? one day for digging and pouring concrete (Monday) and then the second for jacking and putting the footings and fixing the inside floor (Wed).  Had an engineer certify grade.

I felt like they were not experienced in foundation work. They did not do much and the brick they used was taken out from my front porch. My porch is not falling in. I would not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

The very nice owner of the company came to my house and looked at my foundation.  He gave me an estimate, which included filling with dirt and pouring concrete.  Unfortunately, I was at work when the work was done.  His workers shoved concrete under my foundation and called it a day.  I was charged the original amount for a job that I believe was not what we agreed.  I was very disappointed in the work and the price.

i had foundation repairs done. details are above

He originally wrote that it was $6400, then he changed it to $8400. They didn't stay in the house but 6 hours, I had to point out low spots in the house. I had to complain to get them to do anything extra. I pointed out low spots in the house and they would complain because they needed to fix them. I would have to follow in behind them to get them to do their job. He went to dig a drain but it was actually just a ditch that dug up my flowers, the shrubbery is uprooted. I called another business to ask how much it should have cost and he said they were overcharged by quite a bit.

The whole crew was personable, did a hard job, and I even baked them an apple pie.  He has came back for more apple pie.  Overall, the experience was good, will get them to do more work for me if needed, and will recommend them, too.

He was a local individual who had a business. They went down in it, dug it up and put some foundation down there. They did very well and they were very personable. We have a guarantee if something goes wrong.

Still waiting for follow up on guaranteed work.

August 2, 2011. After posting last week about the trouble I was having getting the Robinson company to return and fix the ditches/dry riverbeds they dug, Mr. Robinson contacted me at my home on Saturday July 30. His crew came back to my house and redug and redirected the water flow from the backyard. While the work is not exactly what I had hoped for, I have finalized my work with the Robinson Co. I will need to have someone else do the finishing work. Mr. Robinson's crew does not clean up well  - left gum wrappers inmy year, left rocks and pebbles on my driveway, left pavers randomly stacked in front of the gate.

Mr. Robinson is a nice man, but I would suggest getting him to spend the time with you for estimating and actually draw out what you want. Otherwise the chance of getting what you don't want increases. He is very busy and often leaves the worksite with others on his crew left to finish, and that is when debris is left behind and the jobsite ends up looking unfinished.

I hope the remedy performed will eliminate the flooding of my crwlspace. Now I need a big rain to tell.

Dan was very professional and curteous from the first phone call and estimate to completion. He was prompt and efficient. He did a fantastic job, completely cleaner than what I expected especially when he had to jack hammer through the concrete porch, dig out the dirt and also temporarily move my shrubs. It only took three days and we are very, VERY, happy. He is very experienced and knowledgable of this kind of repair. His quote was $8000 less that another company. He guarantees his work and even gave us an engineer's report. I couldn't be more happy. I recommend him to anyone needing foundation repairs.

The underhouse work on the front went well enough, although it was a little slow and the workers were messy, leaving hand prints and mortar stains on my white columns. The work on the back was second rate at best. A cheap vinyl quarter round that was installed to cover the gap between the porch floor and the wall of the house warped and became detached from the wall within two weeks with nails protruding dangerously. They did little to permanently secure the floor to the main structure. I have called a couple times and asked for the vinyl to be replaced with a wooden quarter round, only to be met with grumbling about the fact that he shouldn't have offered to do the back porch in the first place. As of today, October 21, they have still not replaced the defective quarter round.

Once they got started they got it done start to finish, no delays no surprises. They came early and on time, and completed project a little ahead of schedule. We have had no surprises or complaints a month later, so overall we are happy. They didn't try to jack up the original price (which I've had happen with other contractors), they didn't leave any garbage behind, and overall all the crew we're very professional.

A God send! Found Mr. Robinson on Angie's List. An honest professional man with a big heart. He explained everything he was going to do in detail (so much is going on now I don't remember all the details to write.) He came on time and finished within three days. Extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of house repair and roofing. Performed several other tasks for us, such as sloping a section of our drive way that was ruining our car. Gave us invaluable advice regarding other house repairs. At the end we recieved an engineers report. He also guarentees his work for a year. Told us we could call him if we had other questions about house repair. I strongly reccomend calling him before anyone else! He was very patient with us, as we had some bad experiences with other people before. He explained things in some instances more than once, and not just foundation work. I felt he genuinly cared about me, my situation, and performing the best job possible. We have the highest respect for him.

They did a good job. I am happy with the work done. They arrived on time and were very easy to work with. The price was fair and I would recommend them to others.

Within six months of purchasing my home, cracks began to appear in in my walls and my doors would not close properly even though the foundation had been corrected by the company just over two years prior. I found out the hard way the lifetime warranty from the company touts so loudly is only for their perimeter wall and not for their piers which was the heart of my problem. Piers were only covered for two years by the company. Over the next few months, I received estimates for a number of foundation companies. Three were below $5,000, one was $8,500, and one was $18,000. I went with Dan, not because his price was the best, but because he was the only one that told me I didn't need a new foundation. All I needed was a proper pier correction. He was very professional and had a strong history of foundation corrections. His crew came in, did the repair over two days, and left my home/yard as clean as it was before they began work. I also appreciated the certified engineer's report.
