Manicures/Nails
When I was assigned a nail tech, he said his name was Andy. I told him I wanted a french manicure with shellac on my fingers and toes. He said ok and motioned for me to sit down at a station. Then he went out the front door with no explanation. In a few minutes he came back with a roll of aluminum foil. He sat down and he began by putting the acetone on my toes with the foil to get the old shellac off. Then, while that was soaking, he started my fingers. In the course of conversation, I noticed that some of the bottles he had chosen to use said Gelish. I told him that I didn't want gel polish, that I wanted shellac polish. I had researched online and found out that the shellac polish lasted much longer. I had been to the shop several time before and the guy who did my nails used strictly bottles that said shellac. When I told "Andy" that I wanted shellac, he told me that they were the same thing and that he was tired of my nagging. I was shocked. I told him I was not nagging, but that I wanted what I had before. I asked him who owned the shop and he said John. I asked if he was there and was told no. He told me that they had always used this same polish at his shop. He did not do a good job on my fingers and I told him that they were not even. He told me that he wasn't going to do my toes and he took the foil off, which left my toes looking horrible. He absolutely refused to do my toes and told me that my nails would be $30. I told him I wasn't paying him anything. He then told me he was John, the owner, and told me to get out of his shop and never come back. He told me I had given him a headache and to never come back. I left.
