My AC went out on a Wednesday and I called AC Doctors and they were out to Diagnose my problem. As it turns out, I needed a new coil. I talked with them about the possibility of replacing the condenser as well and having it all new. I was informed they had a Heat Pump that qualified for Federal Tax Credits due to EE that he could install at a substantial discount from original. On Tuesday, the following week, I had a new unit in place and working great!! The technicians were AWESOME!

The AC Doctors did excellent work for me. Not only did they show up before the scheduled appointment time on both days....they were very professional, explained each step as it was being done and made sure I understood everything that was going on. They made sure to clean up and haul off everything that was involved in the job and made sure I was happy with the outcome. They went out of their way and found a significant issue in my attic that affected my heating/cooling system and corrected it . Also installed a new thermostat I can easily read. Mr. Sit, Tyler and Jesse are very professional and I would highly recommend them without hesitation. I am beyond blessed to have met the AC Doctors and would use them again for any of my household needs.

Replaced 15 year old primary central AC and furnace that has had slow freon leak for years. Jerold took extensive measurements throughout house to determine best size unit...definitely not the typical guess work I've seen from others. Replacement was fast and professional with much detail paid to all aspects of setup. They also repaired a zone controller/damper problem on a secondary HVAC system that 3 previous companies had mis-diagnosed and failed to repair. They installed Ecobee3 smart thermostats for both systems. These allow control of temp from cell phone or using voice commands with Amazon Dot. Overall excellent work and strongly recommend. Glad to find air conditioning pros that actually know what their doing!

Excellent job. Paul Miller responded quickly. Determined problem was due to bad low voltage transformer on HVAC unit and bad high/low voltage transformer module on condenser. Not sure if thermostat was bad, since I had already thrown the old one away, but Paul did install the replacement thermostat I had purchased. Very satisfied with results and would recommend.

AC Doctors had been repairing and maintaining my 21 year old unit for the last 5 years. I finally broke down and got a new one that they ordered, they installed it and it works great!!!!

Replaced starting capacitor and was to call to set up service contract. Never heard from them or could get anyone to return my calls and texts. In August the unit stopped again. Tried again to call and text and they never returned any calls. I had to call someone else after out of AC for 3 days. They capacitor AC Doctors put in was not wired well enough and it shorted out, I had to pay for another capacitor and have much freon added to both units. My electric bill was over 500 a month between June and August due to their poor service. I have told everyone I know not to ever call them.

I hired the A/C Doctors because I had seen some of their work. This company did a horrible job. We remodeled our house and selected the A/C Doctors for the air conditioning and duct work portion. Our system and ducts were so poorly installed we had to hire a second company to come in and repair the A/C Doctors sloppy work. Here are a few examples of their poor work: 1. We had a duct run to our master bedroom that was removed but the vent over was put back like the work had been completed. We had to hire a second a/c company to tear out Sheetrock to reinstall (the A/C Doctors refused to complete the work even though they had been paid). 2. The filter drier was removed from our system and caused the compressor (outside unit) and the coil (inside unit) to fail. I had to hire a second company to replace both, badically an entire new system. 3. The condensation and overflow drip pan where installed incorrectly. The drip pan pipe that ran to a sewer line was cut and capped off so if the drip pan filled up it would leak inside the house. 4. The returns to the inside unit don't even connect to the unit. And I'm not talking maybe a little duct tape pulled away, the returns stop and there is several feet of open space from the return duct to the unit. The A/C Doctors just taped filters to the side of the unit and said that was good enough. i could go on with other items that where improperly installed or altogether missing but I'll stop here. The part that was most difficult was the level of unprofessional service we received. When we originally hired the A/C Doctors we were given a specific price and timeframe for completion of the work. That was important because my wife was pregnant and we need our renovation completed before our son was born. The A/C Doctors kept making mistakes on the install and we kept getting told it would take longer and they needed more money. By the time my wife went into labor the A/C Doctors had been "working" on our system for over a month and they had tripled their I risk quote. My wife was at the hospital delivering our son and I called Jarold Sit and asked him to please finish the job we paid him for. Jarold refused. He was now demanding more money (I had already paid him more than the original bid out of pocket). I had to hire a second company to come in and fix all of the slop the A/C Doctors had left and then discovered all of the other issues. To have your price triple and have over a month to complete the work you would think at the very least they could have completed some of the work right. The A/C Doctors are a horrible company. I trusted they knew what they where doing. Please don't make the same mistake

I called The AC Doctors when my AC started to shut off randomly.  We had our heating and cooling equipment replaced about 10 months ago so it is basically new (not by AC Doctor).  We had power to everything but the compressor would run for a while then shut off, after a rest it would kick back in and then over time it got worse.
Ac Doctors left telling us we needed to replace the AC unit and said they would do a quote.  After their visit we no longer had power to the AC unit and noticed that the fan (blower) was no longer working.  The quote was to replace both the AC and the control panel, install panel in new location and add two more communicating thermostats and replace one of my dampers. The quote was a whopping $3698.99.
Never did get a diagnosis and when I asked for a quote to just replace the AC I was told it would not work unless they did everything on the quote.  I had asked for a quote to move the control panel to a new location but that was not necessary to get our AC working.  I know for a fact that we do not need more than one communicating stat and the control panel and furnace
were not at issue and the dampers work fine, so I declined the quote.
I called another Heating and Cooling company to come out for a second opinion and to get our AC working. By this time it was a weekend call so this is costing us more than it should have.  The technician worked for two hours just to get the equipment up and running, as it was before AC Doctor worked on it.  What he found was that the AC Doctor left our system disabled; a fuse was removed and wires were connected in the wrong location.  He also found a blown transformer and a wire with cut insulation in the furnace and a wire that was exposed in the AC unit.  He said no way it could have worked like this; the fuse was needed and they don?t remove themselves and the wires in that location would have caused damage so it had to have been left like this by The AC Doctors. Cost to fix it on the weekend, just to get power back to it was $283.60.
Once all those issues were fixed our AC was running like it was; shutting down about once a day.  We kept the Technician (from the other Company) updated on how it was running so they sent someone out to diagnose the problem now that it was regular business hours.  Turned out it was just a bad Capacitor in the AC unit.  Cost to fix was $24.

The service was prompt and professional. I felt $369 was on the high side but I'm no expert on this stuff and  I was grateful for the prompt service. I also felt I got honest service. As an out of state owner they could have told me just about anything and I would have been in the position to say ok or get a second opinion. The tenant complained that the A/C was blowing hot air and they took care of it same day.

They were very professional. The new system has never cooled the house in the hottest part of the summer. We have 80 degree temps inside the house during the the hottest part of summer. The unit leaks freon and has to be refilled. I told them to make sure the new system will cool our house in the middle of the summer, they failed to delivery.

"We are sorry (member name removed) is so upset and taking out his frustration on us. He has every right to be upset with the previous air conditioning company, totally unrelated to us, that provided the work that lead to his rage. Jerold Sit and The AC Doctors' team of professionals"

Keith arrived on time and was diligent on taking the necessary measurements to run his calculations.  He returned several days later with his quote, which on first impression seemed very high.  He pushed to get the big but I waited for the other bids.  The AC Doctors was outrageous.
Response from The AC Doctors

After Keith did an extensive evaluation of our current a/c system, he corroborated with the other professionals in the company and came up with a plan of action. After we agreed on the services, everything was completed in a timely, professional manner.

I did not arrive home until Mitch was finished with the job (I knew he was coming and asked him if I needed to be there; he said no). He was courteous, explained what he did and what the cost was. All good except he took about 15 minutes to do paperwork.
