NATIONAL PROPERTY INSPECTIONS

Description of Work: NPI, specifically Tom McDonough, was selected by my prospective buyer to complete the home inspection at my residence. When arriving back home after the inspection, I was surprised to find that a picture was broken and glass was shattered everywhere. I also noticed that both the gates to my back yard were wide open and that the water hose was layed out all over the yard(not in it's tidy circled state under the water spout, the way I left it). I promptly contacted my real estate agent to let her know what had happened. I sent an email and picture to her so that I can be reimbursed for the damage. When she attempted to follow-up with the buyer's agent and Tom, she was greeted with an irate, agressive response from Tom that was unnecessary and very unprofessional. He made statements as to the condition of my home as the cause of the broken picture. After the confrontation, I was told that the buyer was removing their offer based on the inspection. I am not going to assume that the two are directly related; but it does lead me to question the authenticity and unbiasedness of his report.
