Constructall

Angelo J. Goundas who owns Constructall was hired to repair my house from termite damage in the bathrooms and one bedroom. We agreed on 6,000.00 for labor and I bought all materials. He started what should have been maybe a two or three week project mid-January. Completion should have been early February. I had to fire him May 7 because the job was not done. The work that had been done was so badly done most of it will have to be redone. The drywall work that was done was completely unacceptable, sanding marks ridges etc. He also painted over the drywall mistakes so it will have to be redone. He painted things that should not have been painted i.e. windows, stained wood work trim. He watered down a five gallon bucket of paint and painted a room that we did not ask him to paint. The rooms we asked him to paint will have to be redone so they are acceptable. He installed new doors inside the home and cracked most of the molding. The doors also had a very poor job of mitered cuts at the corners. Most of the doors all but two did not close properly. In the bathroom the gap is wide enough to see you inside of a closed door. During the door replacement he damaged the drywall around the wall and did not repair it. During the first week of work he did a good job and replaced two windows for me. I like the work so I asked him how much more for all of the windows in the house. He told me it would be $3000.00 to do the rest of the windows and he needed $2,420.00 to order the rest of the windows. Work was going well so I gave him a check to get the windows bottom line after Four months all I had was an excuse for every time I asked him where the windows were. In the beginning of April I told him that get me the windows or get me my money. I did not get either. I had to take him court to get a judgment for my refund. I have my judgment I hope to get my money someday. Bottom line if you meet this guy RUN!
