Tech told us we needed to replace the evaporator coil and then said we may as well replace the whole unit...said it would cost the same amount which was 2200.00.
He said since it was out of warranty, we would have to pay this huge amount. When I asked him why it was so much cheaper (800.00) to do the other unit in 2011, he said the price goes up.

They were able to come earlier than originally stated and called me. Arrived at the new time and repaired the unit promptly. We know that this unit will need to be replaced shortly because of its age. We are going to wait until it dies since we have another unit and can live comfortably without it for a few days if we have to. We will use Barnes Heating and Air to install a replacement.

Arrived at appointed time. All work was done as expected and throughly cleaned up after themselves. Extended service agreement is offered at no cost. I'm very pleased with this company.

Arrived at appointed time. Installed the unit in a professional manner and completely cleaned up after themselves. We are completely satisfied with the unit, which was recommended by Mr. Barnes, and it has given us more living space in our home.

The company told us when the repairman would be there, called when he was on his way and arrived on time. He replaced a part and had it working again in no time. He did tell us that the unit was on its last leg and would need to be replaced shortly. We decided to go ahead and replace the unit now before it breaks down again and also take advantage of a tax credit I knew about that was to expire shortly.

Overall, I was very dissapointed in the service that he said he would do especially with the drain. The whole project is supsect in my mind. There was nothing in it for the man that came out today to tell me what problems he notices. The fees were very excessive as well.

They provided an accurate and timel proposal. All work was performed in a professional manner, and continued to follow-up until all work was accomplished to our satisfaction.
