It is extremely disappointing to know that I purchased their shield program for routine maintenance and cleaning, only to have a technician come out and not even clean my system. To add insult to injury, I was charged an exorbitant amount of $1277.58 for items that may not have even been necessary, such as a capacitor, wet switch, disconnect box, and compressor assist kit. This kind of pricing is nothing short of outrageous and disgusting, especially when it seems like I was being taken advantage of. In addition to the excessive charges, the technician also wanted to charge me $100 for an AC filter. This is yet another example of how this company seems to be focused on making as much money as possible at the expense of their customers. I am upset and disappointed with the service I received from Ball Heating and Air Conditioning. I have requested termination of the shield service, which I feel is a waste of money, and have yet to receive an email outlining the program's coverage. This lack of communication is concerning and shows a lack of professionalism on the part of this company. Overall, I would not recommend Ball Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone. Their service seems like a total scam and money grab, and they do not seem to have their customers' best interests at heart.

If you have a Home Warranty, DO NOT CALL BALL, THAT IS ALL!!! Both the technician and Ball office said they do not work with Home Warranty companies (Monday, 3 days after AC went out). Had I known that upfront ($90.00 paid for assessment) I would of never called them in the first place. Perhaps it’s posted somewhere on their website, but I don’t recall seeing it. AC went out on a Friday, only to find out Monday afternoon that Ball does not work with Home Warranty’s (the very reason you have home warranty’s is to help with associated costs like AC’s). In addition, the Tech on Friday said that Ball would call me Monday morning between 9-10 am. I had to call Ball around 11 (having not heard from Ball) and they said they would have the Tech call me. Tech called me approximately 40 minutes later. After some back and forth all afternoon and Ball not returning calls to the Home Warranty folks, I decided around 4 pm, enough is enough, and decided to use another AC provider!!! Remember, Home Warranty, DO NOT CALL BALL, THAT IS ALL!!! UPDATE: Balls Tech told me Monday, that the specific part needed to fix my AC was OUT of warranty - quoted $1447!!! Even the price they quoted for the part if it was in warranty was - $335, but remember they told me OUT of warranty. New Tech arrived to my house on Tuesday, made one phone call and informed me that the part in question was IN warranty. My Warranty company informed me just after the Tech did, part was still IN warranty! Oh, and the new Tech retrieved the part and fixed my AC within a couple of hours same day for about $200!!! Apparently Ball technicians are either out to scam people or just don’t know what they are doing?!?!? Recommend getting a 2nd opinion if Ball was your first choice. Remember, DO NOT CALL BALL, THAT IS ALL!

It's hard to say because I don't know if it's them or a product. ?You know, I thought 7 years was not very long for it to last when I paid for a new one and my other one lasted 30 years. I was getting twice per year cleanings also and that did not help. ? It's hard to grade them. ?They were good about the cleanings, a little expensive. ?I don't know if it was them or the product. ?They've been around a while. It's hard to say. ?I used them because they were well know in the area. ?I had a contract with them. Nothing stood out, it's just somebody well know. ?I don't know if it's them or the unit. ?I may use them again; I don't know, I might. ?

It went fine and then we used them for a year service contract which was good. we are probably moving now, so we won't be able to use them anymore. But good company

They messed me up bad. The guy who was working for them was quitting the job. He left with the smoke coming out of my filter in the house. The fan had blown it all over the ceiling. My ceiling is still black. I paid them a lot of money and they had to send someone else out. They're supposed to blw my filter up and my dryer from the vent. They're also supposed to blow the vent out for my refrigerator. They said they're going to do all that. I paid $500 and I didn't get anything but a black ceiling. They have a terrible price.

"Thank you for your review. We performed our initial tune up at your home in September of 2012. I thought that you agreed by our re-performing your tune in November of 2011 as well as our follow up visit in December of 2011 that that this issue was resolved."

Great!  The service was superb and the technician was skilled and really knew his way around an HVAC system.  Diagnosed the problem we were having with one of the AC units in the house and added refrigerant to the air conditioning system and it now works great.  The technician went the extra mile to make sure we understood what was going on with the HVAC systems and were happy with the work completed.  Ball is top-notch call them for all of your HVAC needs.
