I stopped by this guy's shop to see if he could help me with my 97 kawasaki 750 vulcan, he assured me that he could and that he could get it right on the rack. This was around sept 1 2012. About 2 days later I take the bike in and leave it , explaining that, i really needed the bike for a ride that our group had planned on 10/1/2012, he agreed. I wait two weeks and no word so, i call to check on my bike. He reports that, he has not started on it yet, ok i'll check back. Another week or 10 days goes by, this time i stop by the shop, he says that he sees some damage to the wiring connections at the charging system. I leave again, after a few more days, my deadline is looming, so, i go by the shop again, he explains that the regulator and stator will have to be replaced, and gave me an estimate of approximately 325.00, parts and labor, I agree and leave again, after he assures me that he will have no problem completeing the work on time. I call him again around 10/1/2012, my deadline is here, which had been explained to this guy 1 month in advance, and i can't get him on the phone. I go by this place again and he tells that, he ordered a regulator and it came in defective. so, he reorders the regulator. So I leave again after stating that I would be there to pick up the bike on 10/5/2012, 5 days after my deadline, ready or not, this was a friday. On that friday i arrived at this, "shop", around 4 that afternoon, the bike was in pieces and still on the rack. When i walk up to the bike Mike Jones, "owner" walks up to me and states that, he had to remove the engine to effect the repairs we had discussed, ( a fact that he was not aware of) and snickered, that, he was going to "bust my budget", i sat in Mr. Jones waiting room for 4 and 1/2 hours more. I loaded the bike at 9:30pm, that night, after paying Mr. Jones,( OVER TWICE THE PRICE OF THE DISCUSSED ESTIMATE), 2.(SHIFT SHAFT SEAL NOT REPLACED AS DISCUSSED ,STILL LEAKING OIL), 3.( TAPPING NOISE IN ENGINE ,UNADDRESSED), 4.( BIKE WAS LEAKING ANTIFREEZE AND GASOLINE , -----NEW LEAKS)!! The motorcycle does charge now. Needless to say, i wont be found in PERFORMANCE MOTORCYCLE & ATV REPAIR in Batesville Ms. ever again, and will advise the same to all!!! I guess i
should be grateful the man left me with no brake fluid leak!Licensing
