I hire him after receiving his estimate, had text contact with him one time after that, then nothing, he never showed up or contact me if he would or wouldn't do the job.

He hasnt completed job yet

He arrived early and worked through the day. It took 2 days to finish the job. He cleaned up everything when he was done.

I recommend to anyone who might contract with Galvin Construction the following: Make your own proposal/contract with highly detailed reference to all parts of what would constitute a completed job in your view. Leave nothing out, e.g. anything you take for granted or that you discussed verbally with the company and thus assume will be honored. Get an authorized signature from the company on the above proposal/contract - this will be handy in resolving differences in ideas in what was contracted. Payments made before completion of the entire job should be only an amount that leaves a balance that will pay for another contractor to perform any yet incomplete work. The above considerations should produce a satisfactory end result. Omission of any of the above may leave you spending time finding a second contractor and costing more than you had anticipated.

He gives you the price. He doesn't change it. He shows up on time and completed everything before he said he would. We couldn't be any happier.
