I was so impressed with Five Star Painting. I had 6 rooms painted and the work was very high quality. The painters were very professional and finished the work in a timely manner. They even stayed until 8:30 one night. They painted vaulted ceilings, all the baseboards, woodwork and doors. I had extimates from other companies. Their price was the most reasonable. I would highly recommend them. I also got help with paint selection free of charge.

He not only met my expectations he exceeded them. Very professional him and his crew. He did not leave any paint anywhere. They cleaned up any messes, I had my whole house painted. I had them walk on the carpet without shoes becasue my carpet is white. On time, stayed until the work was done and it was a day early. I would highly recommend them.

Workers consistently arrived on the dot for the appointments, polite and professional (including social distancing), did a perfect job on the work and even a little extra that I asked at the last minute, cleaned up completely. A bit pricier than some others, but worth it; really glad I chose them.

I felt they were very professional. Price was good and competitive and they met their commitment time frames, and the quality of their workers was outstanding. The owner ( Dan) followed up to see how the job was and how I, the customer felt about the job.

Owner Dan Braning provided quote to us to paint the exterior of our house, and he said he was *confident he could to the job right.* We signed the contract to hire 5 Star Painting, and Dan emailed me about colors and scheduling for June 30. He then cancelled the job 12 days out because replacing dentil trim on a covered front porch was too hard for 5 Star Painting. I asked if he was cancelling the job even if I got a carpenter to complete all the carpentry issues first, and he said yes. Clearly, this means the dentil trim was not really why Dan was cancelling. If Dan Braning is willing to be dishonest about why he is cancelling a job, imagine what else he will lie about.

"There is a great deal of inaccuracy and nonsense in these statements. This person was never lied to. We made an initial proposal to do some exterior painting and to add some carpentry work on an hourly basis. The customer agreed to hire us but then had some second thoughts when we notified him that one of our painters would be doing the carpentry. We have people with some basic carpentry experience but we do not have certified carpenters on our team. The customer was a bit concerned by that because he had spoken to other companies that offered certified carpenters. We respect that and told him we certainly understand if he wants to hire them instead. After about a week, the customer confirmed he still wanted to go with us. The next day, we went out to his house to take a closer look and figure what carpentry materials we would need because the customer wanted to make sure we had matching replacements. After about 72 hours of looking for replacements locally and special order, we could not find what we needed to match what the house already had. Perhaps a professional carpenter knows how to locate it but we do not. This part of the job seemed to be very important to the customer so because we do not want to do a project that a customer may not be satisfied with and because the customer stated he had other options, we respectfully turned down the job. At this point, the customer asked us if we would still do the painting part of the project but we found him to be a bit insulting about it so we chose to not be involved with this project at all. We have the right to accept or decline a job just the same as any customer has the right to accept or decline any proposal from a company. At no point was a service date ever offered to the customer and no payments were ever taken. - Dan Braning (Owner - Five Star Painting of St. Louis)"

The individual who did the painting did an outstanding job in a minimal amount of time, or effort on out part. Dan was very helpful with getting setup and came back this afternoon to check up on the job,to make sure it was to our satisfaction.
