I called Rusty the owner and told him my tennants said there was a sewage smell in one of the bedrooms, and I thought there must be a leak. He came out and looked under the house and there was standing water in the crawl space, and there was a leak where the PVC in the house connected to the old cast iron piupe. He had to get a backhoe to dig a whole big enough to get under the foundation and to pull out about 8ft of old drain line. New PVC drainline was installed, and he also added an outside cleanout to have access to run a snake through the drain line both ways. Problem solved, no more sewage smell.
