Rich showed up one and a half hours late for our scheduled estimate appointment without explanation or apology for his tardiness.
I let him in, without commenting on his late arrival.
He assessed the requested basement wet bar installation work, taking measurements and making notes.
This was a Thursday morning. He took my email information and confirmed my phone number then promised a written estimate before the weekend.
I never heard from him or anyone else at Richbuilt basement again!
It's been 12 days now and numerous efforts to contact Richbuilt Basements with phone call voicemails and emails have been made.
No estimate, no explanation and no return contact.
Lines got crossed with the hot water heater and we went the weekend without hot water. It was fixed first thing on the Monday they returned. The paint job is probably what we are the least pleased with. We choose Behr Castle Path 730C-3. They only did one coat of paint but it really needed 2 coats. After the carpet was installed we marked with stickers where paint needed to be touched up. We went through several stickers to mark all the spots. He did come back to do the touch ups but we still need to finish them because he didn't get them all. For the 3/4 bath Rich installedthe floor tile, shower, pedestal sink, mirror, hand towel holder, glass shelf, toilet, and towel rack. Any construction job is going to have its hiccups but any issue we had was handled easily.
