PETROV CONSTRUCTION INC

This was my first remodel project and it went great! Bruce and Jake were extremely professional, timely, and meticulous in performing the work and making sure I was engaged for the detailed decisions. I highly recommend Petrov Construction and will definitely use them again!

During our discussion of the project, Bruce Petrov seemed very disinterested in remodeling our basement, even stating that his proposal would probably be higher than most. However, since he never submitted a proposal to us, although he said he would send an estimate in two weeks, it was impossible to make any comparison. We interviewed six contractors and Bruce Petrov was the only one whom I would not recommend to anyone because of his rudeness and arrogant attitude. *Approx. Cost: $15,500.00*

We have used Petrov Construction before for exterior work on our house and also to install a double oven in our kitchen. So I had no doubts that Bruce would do an excellent job on our bathroom. We are very pleased with the results in the bathroom. It looks beautiful! Bruce returned my calls promptly and answered my emails the same day. Tarps and other floor covers were always put down and the stairs covered. He always left the area tidy and cleaned up. The project was completed in a reasonable time and to our total satisfaction.

This is an excellent contractor. Their work is top-notch, and we are extremely pleased with their work. The workmanship is excellent and they worked with us doing small modifications along the way during the project (which lasted about 6-8 weeks). We had very good communication during the entire process. While there were some ups and downs due to a few small delays (and the lack of available workmen in some specific areas--HVAC, for example) plus the recent St. Louis electrical outage, they worked with us to minimize the impacts. Also, they were very conscientious about follow-up, fixing all small items after a final walk-through. They were not the cheapest bid, but we went with this company based on hearing of their very high quality. This has turned out to be consistent with our experience, and worth every dollar spent.
