Very pleased with their service. Responsiveness was excellent. Jesse showed up at my house four hours after my early morning call. Quality work was performed. Replacement part was on the truck. Jesse answered my many questions (e.g. proper house water pressure setting, expansion tank pressurization etc). Pricing was given up front. Price quoted was indeed the final cost. They use book pricing (which is my preference) and in fact showed me the repair cost in the book. There was no attempt to push any other repairs or services on me. This was the first time I have used PPI. I will use them when I need plumbing services again. I appreciate quality work and a friendly technician. It is hard to compare prices. Reading other reviews it appears they may be higher in cost. I don't disagree. If bottom line pricing is number one objective there may be other contractors that have lower prices.

Great! They came right when scheduled, which was days earlier than other plumbers could get here. The timeliness was important because I didn't want to thaw my pipe too early and have to turn off my water for days while waiting. I didn't have it all the way thawed by the time the technician got here, but he was prepared to heat it up and actually was able to find the remaining frozen spot (way back in the wall) and unfroze it with his hand! Very friendly and professional, I definitely recommend them.

We had a gas leak on the line to our outdoor gas grill. After an extensive repair, I still detected the odor of gas. We called them back out at least 3 times, after calling Laclede Gas whose equipment detected that there was still a leak. Finally, it was determined that it was the flexible hose that had come with the grill. I'm not sure how they could have overlooked that. We also called them for a bid on replacing all of our faucets, which were deteriorating. They didn't show up -- I kept calling and leaving voice mails and they didn't call back. (Communication issues were a constant problem with them.) I finally looked on Angie's list and got the name of a different plumber. After I scheduled with Bono Plumbing, the Performance worker showed up, but I told him I had hired someone else. Performance Plumbing's failure to repair the gas leak properly was a hazard!

Very well with the only real exception being the state of the bathroom after they were done. It needed quite a bit of cleaning to remove the residue left by the plumber. Otherwise, very professional. We have used them in the past without any regrets, would use them again easily.

We were moving, and had issue with the washer and dryer. The washer was leaking, and Performance came in and fixed the problem. Reasonable cost. The gentlemen was fine to work with. I would give an high recommendation.

Went great. We were literally moving out. When we disconnected the washer from the faucet, the faucet started to leak. We called Performance on an emergency call they got to us immediately and fixed the problem.

Horrible. Could not finish the job the first day because he did not have what was needed for the job, so had to come back the next day. Then got double billed, because they said he had to come back the next day. He did not do the job required, and fixed nothing the first day but we still got billed for the job. Pathetic! If you are called to fix something and cannot do the job we should not have been charged. Then after i called about the issue i was told that even though he could not do the job he still came out there and if i did not pay the total in full i would be charge the total plus a interest rate of 18%. WILL NOT RECOMMEND!

"Sir, We are very sorry to hear you were unhappy with the service provided to you. As it was stated on your invoice before our technician proceeded with any work, there was no guarantee that the initial repair would fix the problem. It was stated that if taking the mixing valve apart, cleaning it and reinstalling it did not work then additional work would need to be performed. This was approved and signed off on by one of your employees. After taking apart the mixing valve and putting it back together it is notated that it helped a little bit but the issues was gradually getting worse again. The price to replace the mixing valve was given at this time and was again approved by one of your employee, the same one in fact. Performance Plumbing strives to keep our customers informed throughout the entire repair process. We give up front pricing for every repair and once it is approved, we then proceed with work. We are very sorry you were unhappy with the experience with our company. We appreciate your business and can only hope you have a plumbing company that fits your expectations."

The repairman showed up on time but didn't have the part he needed so he had to go to a store to pick it up. When he retuned it took about 15 minutes to shut off the water install a compression fitting valve and turn the water back on. The repairman was very courteous and efficient. However, when it came time to pay I was shocked. I found out the they charge by the job and not by the time spent and materials. And what I was charged was with the senior discount.

Couldn't locate leak. Plumber seemed hesitant to open ceiling below to investigate further. Said sometimes leak in pipe seals itself. (?) He wasn't sure if leak was due to shower needing to be regrouted and caulked. Asked him to address another issue in tub. The drain wouldn't stay open. Gave me an exorbitant bid to replace. I declined. Also gave me bid for some other plumbing work that needs to be addressed. That too was unbelievably high. I should have known from reading all of the previous reviews that this company charges way too much. Will take my business elsewhere.

We would not have such high ratings if we walked in and just started opening parts of your house. If there is no visible leak we are happy to come back once the leak starts again. I am certain you would've been upset had we opened your ceiling and/or drywall and still could not find a leak and now your ceiling is wide open. We did give you the option to dig it all up and replace the water line but as you state you disagreed with the price. You paid us our $59 service fee charge, which you were aware of before the initial visit. We appreciate your feedback and we hope you have found a plumber that meets your expectations."

The job was completed to my satisfaction. It was done professionally and timely.
The next day we had an issue with the shower valve continuously mixing hot and cold water causing the the other shower to go cold. Called back in to Performance plumbing and they were able to walk me through the solution easily on the phone. There was a plug that was missing for the new valve (since the cartridge was not installed yet.
Overall very satisfied. Again.

The technician did a nice job, but the price was really high. I should have shopped around some more.

"Thank you for your review, however, once we pulled your record, we discovered that while you claim the work was done last month, December23, 2015, this work was done in December 2014 more than 1 year ago. We have your signature on our contract that stated you approved our upfront no surprise price and asked us to stay and complete the work the same day at that price. You had every opportunity to tell us NO and just leave you the estimate you had originally scheduled us to give. We changed our schedule for you to allow us to stay the same day and complete the work. Our technician ended up giving you a total of $264.52 in discounts, even though our maximum allowed total discount is $200.00. We called you 1 week later to check to see that everything was ok and at that time you had no problems. I am confused why now almost 13 months later you have determined to try to discredit our company over price. We wish you would have chosen to call us and talk to us. We wish you the best in 2016. We are happy that the only thing that you determined was an issue is our price and you gave our Quality – A, Responsiveness – A, Punctuality - A and our Professionalism – A. We are sorry that we failed you in price."

PP installed a new Pressure Relief Valve a short time ago.Afterwords, I began to notice changes in our water pressure.
When calling about the need to have the toilet re-sealed, I discussed with the receptionist that our water pressure had not been right.
She said that it would be no problem to have Jesse look at it for N/C since they installed the PRV.
Jesse came and tested the water pressure inside and outside and determined that an adjustment needed to be made. He made the adjustment and I can not believe how much better our toilets flush, showers run and dishwasher works! It has been wonderful to have better water pressure in the house!
Jesse removed the toilet and replaced the seal and supply line. He did an excellent job and was very neat in his work.
