I love it. We have a well. The water that comes from the well is very hard, which means your hair falls out and your skin cracks. There is a lot of calcium in the water. So, the toilets have a lot of calcium build up. If you make coffee and the water sits for a while there is like a film. Anyway, the water needed to be treated so that the washing machine cleans your clothes better because you have the softened water. We've been using Holmes for our water softening services for about 10 years. They have very good customer service. In 18 months, they call me and say, "Okay. Your 18 months is up. It's time to service your water filter." I like the fact that I do get the reminder call that it's time to service it. They have not skipped a beat since we purchased it. I think the prices are fair.
