Their service was good

My son's 2006 Hyundai Tiburon check engine light came on. I had him call Fred's Auto Care in Wentzville to set up a time to check it out. Fred's managed to get him in that day and diagnosed the problem. It turned out to be a simple emission fix. They only charged $28.00 for this repair. Fred's has serviced all my families vehicles for the last 4 years. I have never had any problems with their work. They don't "up sell" unnecessary work and are very honest. I will continue to have them do all my automotive repair work.

Fred's started with the cheapest thing to try and save me money, and work our way up from there! The only trouble, was they seem to be such a hot place to get your car repaired that you have to wait a while for your vehicle to be serviced. The parking lot is full, so this could mean one of two things.. they are either really good, or they need to hire more staff, I suppose only time will tell. My experience with them overall however was pleasant, I felt as though they had my best interest at heart and not their wallets! In the end, after fixing 4 different things (serpentine belt, thermostat, water pump, coil pack), we got the light off and the car to pass inspection. I do not fault them for this as I know one thing can lead to another and that is part of troubleshooting, again, I was happy with the service. I even just called them again today to get the breaks replaced on my other vehicle, however the wait was going to be well over a week before they could look at it... I didn't have that kind of time.

They let us in anytime, I guess cause we have four cars and they know. They're professional. Very well, very nice, they explained everything.

Great service, timely completion, fair pricing. Have been taking vehicles to Fred's for many years at both St. Charles & Wentzville locations.

Perfect as always!! I have been a customer for many years & I cannot say enough good things about the Wentzville, MO location. I feel special when I do business with them and I feel like I am in a 'safe' place as far as being able to trust them to only do what is necessary and never try to over sell. They know me by name and always take as much time as I need to feel good about the care my car is getting. Thanks Guys!!
