All-Pro Painting

They would only give us an overall price to tape, mud, and prime our 1200 square foot master bedroom and bathroom walls, and not a time and material price that we would have preferred (we wanted them to take their time to do it right). Two other men arrived to do the work and not the owner we thought was going to do the work because by the way he was talking, he and another helper were going to get the done job with care. When they arrived to do the work, they worked as quickly as they could to get the job done. They taped and mudded one day, sanded another, and came back to prime a third day. When they came back to prime they did cover the windows with plastic, but did not bother to cover our electrical outlets or the floor vents, nor did they mention that we would need to move our equipment from the floor area before they sprayed the walls with primer. We asked them to use rollers instead, but they decided to ignore our request and spray instead, because of course, it was faster. Needless to say all of our equipment (this was new construction underway), floor vents, and electrical outlets were covered in primer. As they walked out the door, they said if there were any spots that need to be touched up, to give them a call. I went to inspect their work and was horrified by their poor workmanship. There were waves in all the walls and spots were primer didn't even hit the walls. Other professional construction companies that were there to do other work were just as shocked as I was at the sloppy work. One of the construction workers gave us a name of someone else to come in a fix all of All Pro-Painting's work. We called that other painting company, and they did the job right, and now my bedroom and bathroom walls look flawless, for half the price (and he did it by himself and had to completely redo all of All Pro-Painting's work).
