Casey and his team have gone above and beyond any expectation I would ever have with construction crew.  They are professional, punctual and a hard working team that bring a lot of experience and advice to the table.  There is not another crew I would have asked for to have help us with the new construction of our home.  The quality of work is amazing!

Casey has spent many hours at our home working with my husband and myself working through almost every detail of our house.  We have been very fortunate to have him because he is knowledgeable about the industry and always has options for us to look at, which is great when you are building a new home.

Could not be better. These guys are the best. We are really impressed. They used tile we chose which was difficult to work with but they took the time to make sure everything lined up perfectly. They were timely and professional. We have been updating our home for a while and boy, do we wish we had found these guys a long time ago.

I wish all craftsmen were this easy to deal with.  Casey and Nathan came out within a day or so of our first contact, looked at the job, took some measurements and had the bid to us by email the same day.  We agreed on a time to start the project.  Casey called us the evening before to confirm the date and time.
They showed up just when they said they would the following morning and got right to work.  Once they had the wall open it became apparent that there was going to be more to do than was originally thought.  No complaints; they went out, got the new supplies, and completed everything that was planned for the first day.
The job was finished on time.  Cleanup was thorough.  When I asked Casey about the extra supplies and labor he did not increase the cost of the project.
I have at least one other project I plan to have them do for us.

We originally hoped work could begin March 11 but adjusted to March 24 to suit our mutual convenience.  Old flooring and brick were removed at the beginning of the week and then new flooring went in and finally the stone for the fireplace and a new custom made mantel.  The work went smoothly.  Nathan and Casey made a concerted effort not to disturb neighbors in my condo complex.  They worked out design details collaboratively with me, finding solutions to challenges and making best use of materials.  We were able to get by with two boxes of stone, not three, so I got back $210 for unneeded tile.  I am very happy with the end result.  Both floors and fireplace look great.

Casey & Nathan came, gave me a bid & figured out how to install the tiles just the way I wanted it to be. I got 5 bids from different contractors & theirs was in the middle.  I decided to use them because of their professionalism & attention to detail. They were both very personable, polite & wanted to be sure I was happy with every aspect of the job. I would definitely use them again for other work at our home & refer them to friends & neighbors.

The work went well.  The laundry room wall where the glass block windows were installed needed some drywall rework.  While doing the rework, additional insulation and framing was added to replace drywall.  It was found to have old termite damage which weakened some of the drywall.  The kitchen tile backsplash was added to better install a new cooktop exhaust vent replacing a microwave over cooktop which was installed too low by the previous homeowner.  Four windows had drywall return completed and window sills added.

Water damage was found in the lower level under the upstairs baths. We decided to remodel the baths since we suspected the water damage found may be from a major water leak.  As K&N took the hall bath down to studs and floor boards, the leak was found to be mainly from a damaged drain stack which had cracked where the sinks, tubs and toilets connected to the main drain stack.  It is suspected that the drain stack may have been damaged years ago when the previous owners had the roof replaced, by someone inadvertently stepping on it.
Finding that the water damage and rotten wood was throughout the wall and floor between the hall and master baths, we decided to take the master bath to studs and floor boards at the same time so the shared wall could be rebuilt along with the floor board replacements.
Once the rotten wood and damaged plumbing was replaced, K&N proceeded to tile three walls of each bath room along with tiling the floor.  The hall bath has an deep tub (32x60x20), tile shelving in the tub area, new toilet, new vanity, marble sink and a tiled insert shelving (in place of a side medicine cabinet).  A new 20x30 mirror and light fixture was installed with a finishing coat of paint on the remaining wall and ceiling. The master bath has a large walk-in shower (32x60 - in place of the tub) along with a 12" seat at the back.  Tile insert shelving is placed throughout the shower area.  They moved one partial wall to insert a 24x24 full height cabinet next to the shower in a cubby type scenario.  Tile is on three walls with tile flooring, new toilet, new vanity, marble sink and tiled insert shelving (in place of a side medicine cabinet). A new 20x30 mirror and light fixture was installed with a finishing coat of paint on the remaining wall and ceiling.  Both baths originally had flourescent lighting behind soffits which were removed for a clean open ceiling with the light bars on the wall just above the mirrors.
The tile work is excellent with hardie board and cement board appropriately installed for water proofing.  The cement board has AquaGuard painted over for water proofing the tub/shower areas prior to tiling.  The insert shelving was a very detailed tiling effort.  The inside has a tile sheet of 1x1 glass tiles while the inner lining has the same tile as the wall cut to fit and the outside trim of the inserts have bullnose tile edging to frame each insert.  There are six inserts in each bathroom.  Lastly, the installed a tile frame area above the toilets (center similarly to the mirror over the sinks) to provide a break in the tile wall for decor.  The framing is the same bullnose tile edging as the shelf inserts with the 1x1 glass tile sheets as the decor within the framing.
The repair to the lower level was replacing ceiling drywall in the family room and 75% ceiling replacement in the half bath downstairs which is a long narrow 5x9 room.  The ceiling and soffit area was saturated with old water damage and rot wood.  The wood framing was replaced along with the new ceiling removing the soffit and the remaining damaged ceiling drywall.  The flourescent light was replacement with a ceiling 2 bulb light moved to the center of the ceiling.  We also had a new toilet installed here as well to just have all new toilets in the house.  This was done since leaking from the wax seal was unknown and the old toilet date in the tank placed the toilets near 20 years old which meant new wax ring seals were needed anyway.
Tile was purchased at The Tile Shop in Ellisville for a good discount.  Total work was about a month less weekends and a few holiday days.
