Not great. Showed up promptly to diagnose and take the co-pay in early January. Never called me back, had to engage the home warranty people at least 7 times. Finally was fixed after 3 months and three weeks. Not responsive, not great.

NEVER USE Pat's Appliance Service at 17171 Chestnut, Warrenton, MO. I have 2-10 home warranty service, 2-10 really needs to discontinue service with Pat's Appliance Service. They took my $100 check and said they needed to wait for a part to be ordered before they could fix my dryer, but could not give me any estimate as to when. They do not return any calls. I had them come out Jan 30th, 2017 it is now Feb 26 which is more than enough time to get a part in, or at least return your customers calls and give an update. Worst customer service by this contractor! I went online to see if there was a different number I should be calling/leaving messages. I found customer reviews on this company stating the exact same issues I'm having, with no solutions, they don't return calls, when they do come to fix what they need to order the part for they come unannounced to finish fixing the appliance without any heads up or professional communication.

He came out very promptly.  Needed parts for ice maker.  Offered to deliver them the next day but we would not be home so he rescheduled to our convenience.  So far so good!!!!
We also had them out to fix our air conditioner and he was very prompt and very thorough.

It took multiple phone calls to get initial contact with Pat's.  He was late for the first appointment, but he did call to let me know he was running behind.  Scheduled a second appointment to repair the problem after parts were ordered.  Arrived on time and completed the repair with no issues.

They were good. I thought what they charged me was a little expensive but it was a pretty good service.

They were contracted through my home warranty company so I only paid my deductible for each call.  For the a/c - they were contacted after the first provider failed to show up twice.  Pat's set up an appointment for the next day, called when they were on their way, and showed up on time.  They identified the problem and fixed it within 15 minutes.  They were polite and gave a very thorough explanation.
For the dryer - they came the same day that they were called (on a Saturday!).  He determined that the timer was not working.  He said he would check to see if they had one in stock and, if not, would order one.  He estimated that they should be able to install a new timer within 2-3 days.  They were true to their word and came back on Tuesday and put in the new timer.  Again, very professional, courteous, and thorough.

We were forced to use Pat?s appliances through our Homeowners warranty. They came to our home to look at a stove.  From the onset they were rude and short with us.  They indicated they thought they knew what the problem was said they needed a part and left.  Days go by, weeks go by with no contact.  After about two weeks we left messages with them but still did not get a call back.  The entire time our stove was inoperable.  Before they came it worked it just took a long time to heat up.  Now we could not use it at all.   We could not get any response back so we called our Home Warranty Company to complain.  Finally after this we got a call back.   They said they were waiting on a part.  That seemed to excuse them not calling us for over weeks or returning any of our numerous calls to see what the status was.  Finally they came out to fix our stove.. giving us a five minuet heads up of their arrival?on a Saturday morning.  We had to stop our plans and wait for them. They showed up and sat outside making phone calls for 10 minutes.  Finally I asked if they would mind coming in and fixing our stove so we could get on with our day.  They came in and put in a part and left without saying a word.  Stupidly I assumed the oven was finally fixed.  Nope.  We found out the next day it was still broke.  They did not even have the decency to turn on the oven to see if it was fixed before they left.  We called them to complain and they said to call our warranty company and hung up on us. Obviously we are a bit unsatisfied.

Bob from Pat's appliances is a kind of seen-it-all technician.  Usually he diagnoses the problem and gets it fixed the first time, although one time he didn't get the diagnosis right, and had to come back and order another part.  Pleasant, responsive, and comes during the appointment window.

They were better than I anticipated! They were really very good. I was concerned that the microwave wouldn't fit, but they really worked hard to make sure that everything fit perfectly. This was a long process to get this replaced, but they were great on their end of this entire warranty process.

After giving us a huge time frame during which they could arrive, two guys from Pat's showed up, one saying that he was the owner who had bought the business from Pat.  The work for both appliances went about the same, they opened them up, fiddled for a minute and said they were done.  The furnace blower apparently had some pieces of cardboard and tape inside (probably from the rehab done right before we bought the house).  It made the furnace a little quieter, but nothing like the upstairs unit, which is the same model.  He said it wouldn't be quieter.  We have since then had someone else come out to service it (a fuse burnt out).  They took one look at it, noticed a bunch of other problems right away.  Now it is much quieter.

The dishwasher was the same kind of story.  The owner poked around a bit, cleaned out a filter or something, told us to run the dishwasher three or four times, and that was it.  We did so, and nothing changed.  So, we called them back, he looked at it again, said it was probably a broken valve.  He ordered the part, brought it in (after having several messages left for him to call us back and one missed appointment), but again nothing changed.  He then told us that it was a plumbing problem.  We had another company come in for the plumbing, but it was lucky that they also did appliance repair.  They took one look at it and said it was a problem with the pump.

In both cases, they misdiagnosed the problem meaning we needed to bring in someone else to correct the actual problem.

Bob quickly realized that there was a small heater already installed. He cleared away the ice build-up and diagnosed the problem as a leaky seal on the drain. He removed the drain and resealed it with caulk.

In September, I called for status and he did not call back. I called the home warranty company and Pat told them that the ordered part "did not come in," he said he'd order another. In October, I called and he said it had "just come in." He did not call me when that happened. He installed the part and the dishwasher works fine.

Company evaluated water heater and speculated replacement was not covered by our plan. Feel that the company exaggerated claim back to our insurance provider as to not have to complete the work as he was busy working more lucrative projects.

THE REPAIRMAN COULD NOT FIND OUT WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM BECAUSE WHEN HE PULLED THE FRIDGE AWAY FROM THE WALL THERE WAS NO WATER ON THE FLOOR. HE THOUGHT IT COULD BE COMING FROM THE SINK. HE SAID IF IT CONTINUES TO CALL HIM AGAIN AND THERE WOULD BE NO SERVICE CHARGE.
