GATEWAY FOAM INSULATORS

We looked at cellulose and fiber glass insulation options and found that the spray foam insulation worked best because of the restricted height and lack of air flow in our attic. There are no vapor barriers required and the foam provides an air tight seal that eliminates drafts. Ron & Sue Vunesky arranged to come by and look at my project at a time that was convenient for me and provided a written estimate within a few days. We accepted the proposal. The work was scheduled and performed as promised. Ron and his crew covered everything to protect uninsulated surfaces from over spray. All cavities were filled with foam including the hollow space in the headers over our windows. All gaps in the framing and around the window jambs were also filled and or sealed. They cleaned-up the area when finished. A job well done. Note that foam insulation is about 4 times more expensive than conventional insulation. The long term energy savings will offset the cost. There are other factors in favor or this type of insulation with new construction.
