We had two large pin oak trees in our back yard that were suffering from oak galls and needed to be removed. I decided to take this opportunity to remove the messy sweet gum tree from my front yard as well. After my neighbor contracted with Cunningham Tree to remove two large maples from his yard and I saw the care and expertise of Mark Cunningham and his crew, I asked for a bid on my project. Mark’s price was extremely reasonable, and we scheduled to have the work done in just a couple of weeks. On the day scheduled, Mark arrived on time and went right to work. We had coordinated with Ameren to have the power lines dropped to prevent any damage from falling limbs, which is something that I had not thought about. Once he cleared the limbs from that side of the tree, we arranged with Ameren to get the power quickly restored. I was pleased with the effort by Mark and his crew to protect my lawn from excessive damage using heavy duty mats on which the equipment traversed to the back yard. The crew did a great job cleaning up all of the debris each evening and when the job was complete, they left things in good condition. The final part of the project was the stump grinding which was completed about a week later. Weather conditions prevented that from happening any sooner. The mulch was left for me to ultimately move and use, but Mark used his high power blower to get it all gathered in neat mounds around the stump location. Overall, I was very pleased with the job that was done and believe that I received terrific service at a great value. I highly recommend Cunningham Tree for tree removal or tree trimming.
