We utilized Keith Duerr for our entire basement drywall work (about 3200 sq of wall and ceiling). Keith did a good job and was easy to work with. He did majority of the work himself with the exception of the dry wall hanging.
I wish I could rate Keith a "A" overall but unfortunately Keith's follow up was quite terrible. Keith was supposed to come back to fix some minor issues and I also had some additional work needed and I could not get a hold of him. Multiple emails, texts and phone calls later, I am convinced, like some other reviewers noted here that Keith needs to do a better job with follow up. I can only think he handles everything himself so may have challenges with keeping up with the administrative side of the house.
Overall Keith does a good job and is good to work with and can be a fantastic partner if he steps up on his follow up and communication. I wish him the best.

I had a leak in the upper level utility room that caused water damage to the main level ceiling in our library.  I needed a quick but quality repair because our house is on the market to be sold.  I had used Keith once before and was impressed with his work then, so I contacted him again.  When I called Keith answered the phone (rather then letting it go to voicemail like so many do) and I explained the situation.  He came over right away and committed to get the work done within a week.  It took a couple of days longer than he promised to send me a bid, but when he did, it was a very fair price and he completed the work on time and did a quality job.  Anytime I had to contact him either by text or phone call he was very responsive.  I was impressed that he would respond so quickly for such a relatively small job.  I would definitely use him again.

Keith and his crew were extremely responsive; he sent me a bid quickly, worked with me on the price, and committed to a firm timeline that I needed.  After that, he was flexible with some other contractors who were working on our project...despite having a firm timeline, he was flexible with his crew when HVAC and other contractors prevented Duerr from finishing one of the units.  Despite these setbacks, Keith was friendly, polite, and accommodating with what we needed done.  I would absolutely hire him again, and would recommend him to any family or friend who asked.

Keith did a great job on our house and I would highly recommend him again.  He did quality work (drywall replacement, patching, painting) in a reasonable amount of time.  We had a couple times were we had to reschedule because he has multiple projects and Keith had to call to reschedule, but it was minor compared to the work that was done.  Will use again!

We were selling our townhouse, after moving into a new house. The townhouse was already under contract. I stopped by to check on the townhouse one day only to find water raining down in the living room. A water valve for the washing machine had failed and was leaking. A large amount of drywall in the living room, on the ceiling and wall was wet and stained. The garage, which is also drywalled, was also damaged and wet. Shortly after, I contacted 3 drywall companies. Two responded, including Duerr Drywall. I explained to Keith my predicament. I needed to get the repairs done in a timely manner, but more importantly, in a way that reassured the buyer of the townhouse that the repairs were done properly, and in a way that would eliminate worries of mold growth, or 'covering up' the damage. Keith did a great job, responding quickly, and doing a nice job returning the townhouse to it's original condition. I invited the buyer to stop by a few times during the work so she could see that the work was being done thoroughly and properly. Keith and his crew completed the work in about one week, leaving plenty of time to get everything primed and painted. I'm very appreciative of the service I received from Keith. The price was good, the service and work excellent. 

The owner Keith was very professional and his team did a good job.  The job took a few days but they worked around my work schedule.  Keith was hard to make contact with initially probably due to his busy schedule but once the job started it went very smooth.  Keith's job bid also came in under most others.  After the job was done we took care of clean up to save money.  I took care of a few spots myself missed by the finishers but have real complaints.  Keith offered to come by and fix anything if I found any problem areas but they were so minor that I just took care of them myself.  

KEITH WORKED VERY WELL WITH OUR SCHEDULE. VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON TIME AND BUDGET. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND WOULD REFER THEM TO ANYONE.

The installation went well and was done in a timely professional manner.

Keith is awesome and a super nice guy, my wife hates being alone with contractors, but felt completely comfortable with Keith.
He does a great job, the only problem is he's hard to get a hold of for work.

As with any renovation, there were some surprises (new sewer lateral line), but no surprises with the drywall.  Duerr did an excellent job.

The experience was great. He had hangers come in for the actual hanging but did all of the mudding and sanding himself.  He was punctual, professional and trustworthy. I've heard sketchy things about drywallers, but Keith was a class act.

I found Keith here on Angie's list and he was flexible scheduling the visits for the estimate and repair.  He did a fine job addressing the items we discussed but he went above and beyond and addressed a couple of smaller items he noticed.  He was professional and personable and we're already discussing his next job.

In each case he was professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and
efficient.  Even though his price was at the high end of our other
estimates, he was competitive. His work quality was excellent and the
overall job was well done.  He was able to match existing finishes so
that we did not have to replace large ceiling areas.  His skills made
him cost efficient.  He also cleaned up after his work was complete and took away his trash.  We would definitely recommend his services and would use him again.

Our initial meeting was good. Keith was punctual and very professional. He was flexible on a meeting time. The estimate was timely and reasonable. We had a miscommunication on the project start date, but besides that everything went very smoothly. Overall, we were very impressed with his work (including my father that is a journeymen painter).

The project went extremely well.  The bid was presented quickly, the work was scheduled immediately, and was completed in less time than anticipated.  The quality of the work performed is excellent and the amount due upon completion was less than the bid amount.  I have already requested a bid for additional painting work.

Keith showed up when he said he would, gave us an estimate with a price that was $100 cheaper than all other handymen's estimates. He came back twice to check on his patchwork and put on a sand finish and repainted that area so it would look like the rest of the room. We are going to use him for some other drywall repair, etc. Giving hi an A grade isn't enough, he is really, really good at what he does.
