Insurance Repair Services

We've used this provider for many years through our AHS company, aka, American Home Shield insurance.
This company has such a bad rating that they now also go under the name of USA Services.  The same phone number, same address.
"Tried" to fix a stopped sink and failed, then said the stoppage was not listed on work order.  So they stopped working on it without fixing it.  Made a mess and left it on the floor.  "Tried" to fix leak in tub, but made a larger hole between tiles where already the leak was present.
Changed out garbage disposal, that went ok.

I cancelled my home warranty plan and never looked back.  So glad I don't have to deal with these idiots any more.

Terrible would be an understatement.   Initially tech showed up and did all the usual checks,  at the end he said "I think it is a dirty A-coil" and will have our office call you.    The next day we had our normal heating and AC company check our furnace and I asked them to check the A-Coil.   They put a camera in there and amazingly the A - Coil was clean as a whistle.    I called insurance repair services and they said "how do we know we can trust the other company or what they are saying?"    
So I recontact my home warranty insurance company who told me they would contact them and have them send out a new "Sr. Tech".   On a Tuesday I received a call from Insurance Repair Services saying they only had one time slot available that week and by the way the "Sr Tech" would be the same guy as he is the only person they have in St. Louis!    I could not make this time so requested Monday the week following.  They said they would call me and confirm.   No call as of Thursday so I called them back and they said I would get a call on Friday.   Yup no call on Friday.   Called Monday and was told they were fully booked?!  I asked how I was not included in the Monday schedule and they said that I don't understand how they schedule routes but they can get me in on Tuesday between 9-1.   Tuesday rolls around and the same guy shows up at 8am says "well I thought it was the A Coil"  I asked him if  he considered that he should have looked with a camera and he said "hey the diagnotics seem to indicate it"....ugh...   Then he says its too cold outside for him to check anything so I ask "why didn't you call and tell me that before wasting my time?"... no response...   So in the end they did nothing and fixed nothing (but they did take my 75.00)

Front Office - Uninterested , Incompetent and Unprofessional
This is they type of company that we are all warned about stay away.   As they seem to specialize in working with Home Warranty companies take this advice -   If you have a home warranty and they offer to send these folks out demand someone else.  Anyone else!  
Note they claim to offer services in Missouri - Kansas- Arkansas- Iowa- Oklahoma and Illinois... likely with the same 1-Person tech team.   Hopefully Angie's List can warn others in those areas as well.
