General Remodeling
Hire this company to do a total roof replacement, given a bid description that the job would be $4000.00 dollars and agreed to bid description. I was also told Brandon Ramsey husband of whom the companies name is Jennifer Greer-Ramsey in due to the fact that Brandon Ramsey was on Workmen Compensation that I would have a crew of 4-5 individuals on the job and job would be completed in nomore then 3 days. The first day Brandon Ramsey showed up at time specified 6:30 am and at 7:30 I asked where the rest of the crew was? He stated that he was trying to get in touch with Paul Greer, and another guy named Will who was suppose to be on job. Brandon Ramsey finally had reached Paul Greer and he showed up to job at 9:57 am which meant there was not a crew of 4-5 individuals working on my roof a crew of 2. Then Paul Greer decided he was going to leave the job at 3:00 pm, was not even on the job the whole day. Brandon said that they would return the following day at 6:30 am again and again Brandon Ramsey showed up at 7:20 and Paul Greer and Will showed up to the job at 10:35. They had been on the roof just 2 1/2 hrs and decided to take a lunch, this was after the man named Will said at lunch He and Paul were going to a local Bar & Grill for lunch so he could have a few Beers, I said " Excuse me, If you do choose to do that you won't be back on my roof the rest of the day." As that becomes a liability to myself and our homeowners insurance. So they left as I was coming back and they told me they were going to lunch, So I decided to drive to the Bar & Grill in question and I walked in and I found both of them with a beer in front of them and each a bucket of beer on the table. I walked up to them confronted them, told them " They could return to get their tools and return the next day, I returned to my residence and told their boss Brandon Ramsey I had caught them drinking and they were not to get back on my roof for the rest of the day. he questioned me and said " It was no big deal", I told him "when he owned a home instead of renting he would understand where I stand, and if one of them were to fall off the roof or get hurt they could come after me". He had to find someone else to help him cover the roof in plastic that late afternoon. After that was done he said they would return with 2 others instead of them as he said it was a liability to him as well. ( Come to find out, they were not Insured or Bonded, looked it up on the internet and it stated it was ficticious business and insurance) That evening I received a call from the wife of Paul Greer wanting to know what happened, i told he to talk to her husband. he apparently lied to her as to what happened. I then received a call from Brandon Ramsey the brother in law of Paul Greer and I was told " He was taking me to Court because I would not let Paul Greer and Will on the roof the rest of the day, and I broke a contract". There was never a contract signed, just a bid agreement was signed. I told him that would be fine and they never returned to the job leaving the dumpster abandoned, my roof exposed, half scraped, partial shingles placed in an uneven row, roofing nails through my new shingles were parts of plastic had been placed, meaning that those shingles had to be replaced again costing more money to the new roofing company hired. I had to call to have dumpster removed they couldn't find it as Brandon Ramsey altered my address (as I asked him for copies of invoices he told me he didn't have, I said I would get them myself from the c opmpany he used) Later finding out he overcharged us per the supplier $1500.00 dollars for material, meaning he pocketed the $1500.00 I have the invoice number reference by the supplier and that invoice number is 211979 with my inverted address of 3770. We have contacted him in reference to this matter and he won't answer his phone or calls back with a fake voice app that you can put on your phone and it's in a different language so we do not know what it's saying. This is Insurance fraud and again he is also on Workmen Compensation as we learned. This company also does concrete work, landscaping, remodeling, and other small jobs. The supplier after finding out what he had done will not do business again with his company.
