They did an excellent job. He (along with many other contractors) were hampered by the wet and humid weather in St. Louis this spring, but they scrambled to get the job done. Mike stays in touch, lets you know exactly what's needed, and why. Great job! I highly recommend Duff Painting for all your painting needs!

We hired Duff Painting Co to paint our living room, dining room, playroom, hallway, staircase, office, and master bedroom walls. Mike and Todd were very professional, arrived when they said they would, and took on the task of patching aging plaster walls before any painting could be done. The result is remarkable. We had one wall with old water damage, that now looks like new. They also had to pull down some 200 lbs of plaster in the hallway, which turned out to be dangerously bowing away from the lath upon close inspection. Everything was repaired -- you would never know that such extensive work was done! Additionally, Mike provided paint options that helped us make choices on wall colors that are timeless, work well with our existing decor, and have the look and feel we were going for. They left the place clean, and completed the job in less time than expected. I would definitely use Duff Painting Co again!

I wasn't happy with the paint job on our basement stairwell after construction work so I contacted Mike to repaint it. I'm very happy with the way it looks now. The crack repairs he did in other parts of the house look good too. I will definitely call him when I need more work done.

Mike was very easy to work with in terms of scheduling and on the job. Beautiful work and not a drop of paint on our newly refinished floors. I was concerned when prior trim color was bleeding through final coat, and was not looking forward to conflict/negotiations. When I pointed out bleed through to Mike he immediately agreed and applied another coat. No conflict and he stood by his estimate. Clean and professional. Highly recommend.

Mike was friendly, professional and did an excellent job fixing cracks and painting an interior room for us. He and his team were punctual, worked very efficiently and did a great job with clean up. I was very impressed, highly recommend him, and will use him again!

Surpassed my expectations! Not only did Mike do a great job, but he is friendly and detail oriented. In addition, he noticed our wood banisters which are 80 years old could be “brought back to life”. And wow they are!!! I give Duff Painting my highest recommendation.

Mike was beyond excellent. He is extremely personable and very professional. Why I would recommend him: During the project, we would communicate daily in the morning and (if needed) via text or phone. He took the time each day to address any concerns and outline what he was doing that day. He worked with our interior designer to match our paint colors. He repaired water damage to plaster and replaced drywall in two rooms due to previous repair work. We had a large project with over 2 weeks of work. They showed up every day on the time and were ready to get started. He was very easy to get a hold of before, during, and after the project. There were no hidden charges, we did have to add a few items on that we left out and Mike added them without any hassle. It was straight forward.

I met with Mike and received a quote. He was knowledgeable and professional and really listened well. His bid was perfect and didn't miss any of the quirks of the job. I did not hire him due to schedules (but I wish I had waited and had him do the job). Next time I will try to adjust my schedule to work with his.

Mike Duff and his crew did an excellent job, as usual. Mike was very accommodating and worked within my time constraints, as I needed the job completed before the arrival of out-of-town guests. The work quality was superior and the cost was reasonable. Mike and Todd were so professional, kind, courteous, punctual, and thoughtful. They were patient with us as we made decisions throughout the whole process. We have recommend them to others and we do plan on using them again.

Duff Painting does outstanding work, is very professional, reliable and responsible. Mike Duff and his crew are careful, thorough, pleasant, responsive to questions and changes. When a big house gets painted, the painters are around for awhile and you get to know them a bit. Mike and the people who work with him care a lot about doing the job well, making sure the owner understands any issues, flagging any repair needs, taking care of needed repairs, and working hard to make sure the job is well done and the owner happy. They are also great about leaving a tidy work site at the end of every work day. They are deservedly popular, so it can take awhile to get them to a new project, but they are definitely worth the wait.

Project went smoothly and the bannister looks great! Painters arrived on schedule, and since the job took less time than estimated, the price was adjusted accordingly. They even touched up a wrought iron table for me. Best of all, they used a new, faster drying product so that I didn't have to worry about anyone accidentally touching wet paint.

Mike really listened to what I wanted and what my needs were. He and his team were professional, punctual, quick and clean.

The quality and professionalism were first-rate and Mike is easy to deal with.

Very well-no cigarets-no loud music.... after each day, everything was left in a tidy fashion.... We will certainly call him again when and if needed!
