Paul was great! We appreciated both his skill AND his artistic eye! Did a great job with our slat wall as well as a few board & batten walls!

Paul was great. Quality was unreal. Painted my 30 year old cabinets and they look unreal. He did the job in the time he said he would. He had great ideas also on what i should do with a cabinet i am adding and how is should be painted and installed. I had a party two days after he was done and people went crazy on how great the cabinets looked. Hire Paul you cant go wrong.

Paul is easy to work with, detailed, and takes great pride in customer satisfaction. Although he primarily painted our kitchen cabinets and installed some new ones, he also painted two rooms and ceilings. He is an excellent painter! Projects are never an "exact science", but Paul is flexible and the end result meets or exceeds expectations. Highly recommend.

Paul is great to work with. I was in a crunch with my project because my existing painter fell through and he was so accommodating and flexible with my schedule. He fit me in around existing jobs he was working on and would work on nights - sometimes even throughout the night to get the job done. Out of all of the other companies that came out to bid my project, he was the most consultative and took the time to explain various details and answer all of my questions along the way. I have already booked him for additional work as we have been going through this project and I will definitely utilize his services for future projects as well. Several of my family members have already tried to snag him up for work and I will continue to recommend him to others too! He is also very respectful and communicates well along the way. We'll miss having him around when the project is done! :)

He is very meticulous in his work. He was helpful in suggesting paint colors and carpet. We had three bids. His bid itemized everything he contracted to do for us.

I wanted to whitewash a 17' tall brown brick fireplace and paint an accent color on the wall surrounding the fireplace. I was very anxious to find the right craftsman and took a lot of bids - more than 6! I hired Paul Marcus - who was not the cheapest by a long shot - for several reasons. Not only because he seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and what the project would entail, but also because he was patient in answering my questions and explaining how he would do it. Most importantly, however -- he was the only bidder who discussed in some detail what would be involved in prepping the space and cleaning the brick before the whitewashing could begin. He discussed the type of brick we had ("soft" here, hard there) and how these differences would affect the way the whitewash would be applied and absorbed. He listened patiently to what I was hoping to accomplish, answered my questions and looked carefully at pictures I had found on the internet that best matched my vision. He and his employee, David, were both impressively professional from start to finish and very careful about my home and furnishings. When they began the actual whitewash process they made sure I was home and kept adjusting and working at the finish until I was 100% satisfied. The finished product matches my vision exactly and I am absolutely thrilled. It was worth every penny and I consider it an extremely valuable investment. I really wish I could post pictures because the change is dramatic and the finished product is just beautiful. Thank you, Home Advisor, for finding me Paul Marcus Painting. We purchased a new home and wanted to make the inside to reflect our own family. We did not take this project lightly and received several bids, but was not necessarily looking for the cheapest. We made our decision to hire Paul’s Painting. As we walked through the house, he listened to what we actually envisioned for our home and didn't let the wallpaper border in almost every room scare him away, he took notes, made suggestions for areas we didn’t even consider or notice, and even allowed us to use his color coordinator so we were able to rest assured we chose the right colors for our home. These qualities set us at ease that we hired the right company. Paul was professional and friendly throughout the entire process and periodically followed-up with us to confirm we were happy and no changes needed to be made. He was very dedicated and took less time than expected to complete the job. Unbelievably, he treated our home as if he was working on his own home and took great care in every aspect. We recommend to anyone looking for a professional, who knows what he is doing, hire Paul’s Painting, you will be extremely satisfied. Also, one final note, Mr. Marcus is well versed in other areas as well such as drywall, staining, repairing driveways. We will definitely keep Paul in mind for any future projects that we have.
