BRIAN BUILT THE MANTLE USING A SCALE DRAWING. HE REMOVED PART OF THE OLD BRICK MANTLE, AND BUILT THE NEW MANTLE TO FIT IN THE SAME SPACE. L & B REQUIRES A 50% DEPOSIT, AND WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN WORK. I CONTRACTED WITH THEM EARLY IN JUNE 2005 AND THE MANTLE WAS COMPLETE - MARBLE SURROUND INSTALLED, AND WOOD PAINTED - IN THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER 2005. I FOUND BRIAN TO BE FLEXIBLE, AND ACCOMMODATING AS THERE WERE SEVERAL CHANGES TO THE WOOD DESIGN AS THE PROJECT PROGRESSED. THERE WAS ALSO A CHALLENGE WITH THE MARBLE INSTALLATION WHICH BRIAN CREATIVELY RESOLVED. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
