 + -1 moreI am very unhappy with the result. The finished product leaves a lot to be desired. Ceiling tiles were cut short in several places showing a ragged edge, heat vents were improperly cut also showing gaps between the vent and the ceiling tiles. In the bathroom finishing nails were never counter sunk or filled with putty. Several of the holes cut for outlets and/or switch boxes were too large and not covered by the face plates. The walls of the entry stairway were never finished re: sanding, taping and painting. I was assured by John Asher that one of his employee's would come by and spend a Saturday tending to all of these issues. No one showed on Saturday and one of his men spent 1 hr & 15 minutes on the following Sunday saying that he and John would return that Monday evening to finish up. That was approx 3 weeks ago. I have called John Asher 6-8 times with no response.
Description of Work: The task was to build an office in the basement along with a laundry room, a small entertainment area and a full bath. It was to be built from scratch since the basement had little to no finished areas in it to begin with. Bestway handled all the contruction with the exception of the full bath which was sub contracted to a reputable plumber and the electrical which was completed by a relative of John Asher's. The enclosure for the bathroom was to be completed by Bestway.

 + -1 moreJOHN'S WORK WAS OUTSTANDING. I COULDN'T EVEN TELL WHERE HE HAD RE-PLASTERED & PAINTED. HE WAS DEPENDABLE, REASONABLE & THE WORK WAS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. I KEPT COMING UP WITH EXTRA THINGS FOR HIM TO DO & HE NEVER COMPLAINED. HE HAS ALSO HUNG CABINETS AND PUT IN NEW COUNTERTOPS. EXCEPTIONAL WORKMANSHIP.
Description of Work: JOHN REMOVED OLD PLASTER THAT BECAME SOFT AND POWDERY DUE TO A ROOF LEAK. HE RE-PLASTERED & PAINTED 3 BACK WALLS IN A 4 FAMILY FLAT. ALSO SEALED & TUCKPOINTED SEVERAL OPENINGS IN THE BRICK EXTERIOR. HE REPLACED & FINISHED A DOOR FRAME THAT WAS DAMAGED.
