No instructions how to operate our unit. In winter, when we had below freezing temps, we were instructed to stay home & manually switch from heat pump to electric heat. Gave us the wrong size of furnace filter , which we continued to use that size for 8 yrs., when unit finally broke down. Still under warranty, this company was unresponsive.

The owner did very little work on this home. The owner designed and laid out the system but his helper (who worked for him for "ten years too long" he would say, complained about his boss the whole time has since quit) did 95% oft he work. I don't think they installed the vents as needed for the house. Not enough vents in the main area of the home. The gas heating worked well. But when spring came and the weather turned warm the home was not cooling. Call them twice, they finally found a leak a the copper line. Trying to get them to come out is like pulling teeth. Owner said he would only come out if it was an emergency since his helper left, he only puts out fires now. I would not recommend this company for a new system. Once they get paid they're not dependable.
