Manicures/Nails
LOVELY NAILS in Troy MO I will never set foot in that Salon again! I had my nails filled yesterday after work. I didn't pay much attention to the tech. HGTV was on need I say more lol but my bad I guess. I got home and noticed I had a ton of super glue under the tips of my nails kinda strange right? I'm at work today and start to realize the tips of every single nail but 1 has lifted. Annoyed at this point because I don't have time to go back to the salon 2 days in a row and nails are not cheap! But at this rate they would be off by Friday. So I stop back by on my way home from work. The owner comes to the counter said no problem sweetie I'll fix for you. I offer my receipt she tells me no she believes me and hands me the basket to pick my colors back out. Great I'm thinking they are gonna take care of me. HA She then tells me she will have the tech glue them. NO! I explained I think the tech had already tried that. Explained the super glue issues. She tells me she will file and fill then. I sit down with the tech and she starts on my nails and starts making funny faces and shaking her head at one point her mouth even drops. No exaggeration! She asked me if she could take the set off it could no be fixed. I agreed. Here comes the own Holly. Tells me that I have to pay more to have a full set put on or I can just have gell polish. Now let me get this straight your tech ruined my nails now I'm out the time and more money? So we argue back and forth and she tells me the tech was just trying to save me money?!? What the? I didn't ask you to save me money! The tech never told me I needed a new set she never asked to take the original set off. So I tell the own to take them off and give me a refund I'll go to someone else. She refused to refund me and then turns her head. The current tech that I feel bad for at this point looks very uncomfortable and is unsure what to do. So I asked Holly the owner how we would be handling this. She tells me if I was a regular costumer it would be different but since I'm not she doesn't want me to come back to her salon again! ***! Of course I told her she wouldn't have to worry about that! I assume she told the tech to just fix my nails and get me out. I'm not real sure she didn't say anything else to me. But about 10 mins later she then bad mouths me to the lady sitting next to me. Saying you can't be nice to people anymore. You see what happens when you try to save people money? I'm still dumbfounded. I have never had such a horrible fill or even worse customer services! Never again!!!! Friends beware!!!! Lovely Nails in Troy MO is at it again! Last night I was tagged in a post from DUC DANG. I'm assuming he is part owner Holly's Husband but I'm not sure. I've never met the man. His post was about how rude and disrespectful of a customer I was. Of course leaving out half the story! I wasn't rude or disrespectful. I simply refused to pay for the mess they made. Before I could comment my side of the story I was blocked. Hmm isn't that odd? They make a post about me but don't want me to see it or comment on it? Yet they are such a great salon and did nothing wrong? I have been called a freeloader a con artist a thief and made out to be a all around ****** person who is unhappy with my life for what? Asking for what I paid for? Asking this business to stand behind what they sold me? I did pay for my service. I did leave a tip. I did treat BOTH nail techs with respect. I apologized to the 2nd tech multiple times for being stuck in the middle of the VERY unprofessional scene her boss made while she had to fix my nails. This is the 3rd time I have been attacked by the owners of this salon. Once at the salon then on my Facebook review of the salon. Where they couldn't justify the way they treated me as the owners so they made a fake lady by the name of Beth and pretended to be at the salon to attempt to make me look like a bad person again. With a little investigation it was very clear this Beth was not the white female in her FB picture that just so happened to be changed at the same time the comment was posted. She is either a employee or a family member maybe even a fake account set up by the owner. Then again on the owners fb page they have since blocked me and my Husband from. A special Thank you to my ladies that hand my back! They also deleted their comments as well. Sorry I'm aware this post is lengthy but I refuse to let this business bully me. To betray me as a rude disrespectful con artist. I will post the screenshots of DUC DANGS post that I got before I was blocked and you can see yourself. Please share so your friends and family see exactly how this salon treats their customers. Nothing about my experience with LOVELY NAILS was lovely!
