good - House cleaning before listing for sale

Very well. The first cleaning was like a spring cleaning, but subsequent regular cleanings are for ongoing maintenance. Clean monthly. A little pricey, but worth it.

I hurt my back, so I was unable to clean for a couple of weeks. The person they sent was wonderful. She was very prompt and professional. I cannot believe she scrubbed my floors on her hands and knees. The floors have never looked so good. I also have a glass shower door - I have no idea how she got it so clean. I wish I could afford to have them come every week.

I can't say enough nice things about them. They're wonderful. They're flexible with scheduling. Beverly, who does the scheduling is great. She always gets me in and remembers that I like my house done before Thanksgiving -- so she gets me scheduled. They have a crew of 3 people that come in. It doesn't matter how long they stay, it's still the same price which I like.

Cost of $199 was for the first cleaning only. Rate has gone down since I have gone to bi-weekly. Tried Cottage care after getting rid of my "other" cleaning service whose quality had gone down the drain. Cottage care did an amazing job. My home looked great. Gave punctuality a B only because they had car trouble and were late, however the manager called and advised me. Will continue to use their services! Very satisfied with the job they did.

I recommend Cottage Care for housekeeping. I will use them again on Monday. They're very reasonable. They come in teams of either two or three and when they come, they're in and out. I have been using them for about 4 years and mu house is beautiful. They're fast and thorough. They bring their own supplies and usually the same team comes, they're familiar with the house so it doesn't take too much time to clean.

They did not do baseboards nor did they do toilets or the bath tub. marks on the walls were not addressed. Vacuuming was inferior by far! The stainless steel appliances were not touched. The house was not in much better shape when they were finished as when they arrived. It didn't sparkle or smell clean. So disappointed!!!

They asked that I leave a prioritized list of what I wanted cleaned, which I did. Due to the extensiveness of the cleaning required, a few minor things were overlooked, but this was not of concern to me. Overall, they did an excellent job and were very pleasant and professional to work with. I would definitely recommend them and use their services again.

The crew (2 people) was prompt and professional. They got to work right away and brought their own supplies. I'm not sure how long they stayed since I had to return to work after letting them in. They did a very basic job but little details were missed, such as lampshades, sink drains, baseboards, etc. I might use them again but will probably try someone else.

They're friendly, I do a lot of stuff before they come, I prepare for them so it would make it a little bit easier for them. They'll do anything, if I add anything or if I said you do this or you missed this or anything and there's no problem about them taking care of anything like that and they do it. They're just thorough the first time.

Things were wonderful. They met all of my expectations.

Cottage Care did a fine job cleaning, but I wasn't thrilled with their price. It's possible I may have been spoiled with a lower rate in the city we moved from last year; I used to pay just $75 for a larger house in Las Vegas. When I called to inquire about the price, I was disappointed when the rep said it would be $159 for the first cleaning, then cost less when we're on a regular cleaning schedule. I told her we'd just had our house professionally cleaned 5 weeks ago and it just needed a standard cleaning. It's a small house--just under 1300 sq ft, 3 bedrooms/2.5 bath, no kids. So she offered an hourly rate instead, which was $29/hour with a 3 hour minimum, at the time. I was satisfied with this.
It took one person 4 hours to clean our home. They worked hard and did a good job. They arrived almost 15 minutes late, but I didn't mind much. The manager for the Saint Peters area stopped by near the end of the cleaning to inspect the work and ensure I was happy. I was, and just pointed out a couple spots I noticed had not been dusted.
I haven't asked Cottage Care to return, but will consider them again if I don't find a quality, reliable, less expensive alternative soon.

Overall, I am very pleased. I've had several challenges, and was unable to clean off many floors and surfaces, as I'd intended. Some floors have boxes still stacked, and the master bedroom has way too much stuff on surfaces. We'll do better the next time, preparing for the cleaning team.

I have used Cottage Care for about three years. The manager is always helpful and works to match the cleaner she sends to my needs. I am very happy with the service I've had--the house is always sparkling.

Job went well, I can see and feel a difference in my carpeting.
