The Hillbilly Tree Service

I hired them to cut a tree down and it was a big tree. It was over $1000.00 and that is fine because that is just the way the price goes on something like that. Well, while he was here I have another big tree and it's in a place that if it fell it could fall on the shed and he told me that since he was doing the one tree that if I wanted to pay him now he'd do that other tree for $400.00. I thought about it and I went well, yeah, okay. And then he gave me a sad story and said well, I'm behind on paying my workers and everything, could you please pay me ahead for this? And he goes if I could I would like to have it in cash. I knew that wasn't a good idea but he had just done the one tree and he offered that and I said well, okay. I had him sign a paper and everything, I wrote it out and he goes what's this? And I said it's just that I'm giving you money I need something. but anyway, he did sign it which I still have that but anyway he never came back and did anything. It was just, he just really stole from me. I called the guy and said I want my money back or the service done and he said I don't have the money anymore and that was it. The tree that he cut down was okay but the fact that he stole money from me knowingly that was a scam, he had planned it. Just the fact that he asked me to pay in cash and even though I have that signed piece of paper he was kind of like skeptical what do you need this for? He planned that, that's what I have against them. He took some of the tree limbs but he didn't take all of them. After over a month, I finally called the Sheriff and the Sheriff called him and that's the only thing that got him over here to pick up the tree limbs. He finally did that.
