$martmoves Home Energy & Comfort Survey of Sunrise Beach selected to Represent Missouri Department of Natural Resources at the 2011 Missouri State Fair We are proud to announce that “$martmoves Home Energy & Comfort Survey”, a Division of $martmoves Cost Reduction Systems, Inc., was selected to represent the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. It was fantastic to meet with hundreds of Missouri home owners and to help them make their homes more energy efficient and more comfortable year round. The best part was showing how to save money at the same time; after all, this is the Show Me State The State of Missouri wants its homeowners and citizens to have a “Home Energy Audit” to reduce your heating and cooling costs and to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, but you need to know what an Energy Audit IS NOT. An energy audit does not sell stuff; we don’t sell windows, siding or insulation. What the Energy Audit does is show you, the home owner, where your house is losing condition air and letting in hot or cold air, uncontrolled from outside. The state of Missouri offers a tax incentive to cover the cost of having a Home Energy Audit for your home and also offers another tax incentive to have any energy improvements or upgrades completed.
