I have used Wayne in the past so I knew he is a good contractor. As usual, he did an excellent job and was there when he said he would be there. The only glitch in the job came about with the final price. He gave me a low price up front and then realized he under estimated the job. Coming from a contracting background I know how hard it is to lose money on a job. I asked him how much the estimate should have been for the work and because I appreciate his work I ended up paying him what he should have bid the job at. The only thing that I would have liked him to do, that he didn't do, was split the overrun with me. That would have made it much easier to swallow. Even with this experience, I would not hesitate to use him again.

I got three or four bids from HVAC contractors and chose Wayne even though he was not the low bid. I come from 30 years of industrial mechanical contracting experience and knew by his presentation that he was the one to go with. I was not disappointed in his craftsmanship. He did a great job and paid attention to detail. He is very easy to deal with, answers his phone, and returns calls which a lot of contractors fail miserably to do in my opinion. He even did another job on my new home which was outside his HVAC scope of work when I was in a bind during the construction. It took a small amount of prodding, but he did it. I appreciate this type of customer service.

Last December I came home to a freezing cold house because my furnace had quit working. I was referred to Thompson Heating and Air by a family member. Wayne was able to visit my house the next day. I felt comfortable letting him into my home. He was very professional, and fixed the problem at what I considered a fair price. I also appreciate that he explained the cause of the furnace failure and the repair so I could understand. I recommend Thompson Heating and Air highly.

I discovered my A/C wasn't working properly the first time I turned it on, i.e., the first really hot day. Apparently, I was not the only one in this situation as Mr. Thompson, like other companies, experienced a sudden surge in business. However, considering the circumstances, his response and work was performed in a timely manner.

The prices are reasonable. Sometimes, he's a little too busy.
