April 22nd 2015 I prepaid per a bid to perform Spring Clean Up to include (trim all the shrubs front and back yard and fertilize and apply weed treatment,  mow front and back and level vegetation on the back hill. All service was satisfactory except for the trimming of hedges. I was ill and unable to survey work, my husband paid her and upon her next visit the following week I pointed out the shrubs weren't satisfactory. I stated they appeared to be skimmed over instead of being trimmed down adequately. This was something that we've had done for 15 years prior her service. She stated she didn't have hedge trimmer and borrowed my neighbors sheers. Mind you I have pretty big yard, she said she would redo at no charge and I expressed for her to hold off for the Spring rain end early May. I also requested a bid to put mulch down in front and back yard in which she would put down prior to trimming hedges. On May 7 she mowed my lawn and was to leave a bid for mulch. I never received the bid so I followed up with a call and left message. She never returned the call,  I finally reached her May 18th,  she failed to come out the prior week because lawn mowers broke down so she was coming today. She requested a down payment of $150 in which her bid was $175. I left a check for mulch and part labor of $150, FYI she does not accept checks made out to her Company Name only accepts the written to her personally. She expressed because Thursday was my service day she was returning to lay down mulch and trim shrubs. On Wednesday I had a mishap at my bank, I phoned and informed her that a company I made a purchase with my credit card and issued charged my debit card for shipping instead of my Visa credit card used for the actual purchase. I phoned her to explain the check I wrote for the mulch bounced and  asked her to inquire with her bank to see if she was charged overdraft and if so to get a letter from her bank stating this and I would pay her in cash along with the $150 that day or the following. I expressed I did not want to delay the installation of the mulch and trimming of the hedges and would be glad to meet her with the funds. She confirmed this this would not be an issue . The work was still the next day, she would go to her bank 7:30am Thursday and phone me. She mentioned she never returns my calls of all her customers my number never comes up so I texted my contact information as she requested. She didn't phone me the next morning after 7:30am so I followed up for an update. Mind you my temper and tone was calm but hers was not. I was never so dumb founded, she stated she didn't have time to cater to one customer,  she said she would have had to purchase the mulch the prior day. Now this was never communicated the prior day. She also indicated she didn't inform me she'd contact her bank at 7:30am it was 8:30. Now neither timeslots were an issue for me I was just following up to see if she went to her bank and I would me her as discussed the prior day. She expressed she was a business woman and didn't have time for this and said she owed me 1 more grass cutting and I could hire my old lawn service .

I informed her I was a retired Director of a  Phone Company with 176 technicians with several Call Centers. She responded you must not be that good of a Business Women otherwise I wouldn't had mishap with the check for mulch. I replied I was extremely good that was why she was informed as soon as the check bounced and she hung up on me. In all my years of doing business with business and residential customers she has got to be the rudest person I ever dealt with. Not to mention she has no business savvy. I must say I never prepay for services that includes labor, I also paid in advance for grass mowing for one month. Two of my neighbors were using her service in which one no longer use her service. I inquired with her about that because it was a red flag to me. The other red flag was she advertise luxurious lawns but didn't have proper equipment to trim hedges.  I must admit she's correct about me not being a good business women and that was making the decision to use her service.
