Elite Movers

awful I hired them to pack some things for me they packed half of what they were supposed to pack.they took a long time to run the bill up what they did pack they left boxes open,in some boxes they did not put anything to protect glass. in one box they threw a vacuum cleaner on top things thrown in a box.they were lateDO NOT HIRE THEM

They quoted $165 for the first two hours and $50 each after that. They showed up late, there was supposed to be three guys only two showed up. I had five rooms in my basement that needed to be done, I had a china cabinet that had my crystal and china, they were supposed to pack all of it including the drawers. They said it would take them four hours and five at the max. I went ahead and hired them. They took over three hours just to pack the top crystal. I did it on my own I did it in four by myself and I know I was being extra careful because its my stuff.

I told them what needed done in the other rooms and what didn't need packed, I took something and placed it on top of another piece of furniture and told them not to pack this stuff but that they needed to pack the stuff in the two side drawers anyways, they packed half the stuff in one side drawer and the other not at all.  They didn't do my china whatsoever, just the crystal. I had a bunch of mugs in the dining room, which they did the majority of the mugs but they knocked two or three on the floor and just left them. 

Other stuff they were supposed to pack they didn't and stuff they weren't they did.  I had two cats that died recently and I was saving their ashes for my finial place to release their ashes, they packed one of my cats. It totally upset me. 

They were supposed to pack two bed rooms and a office and another smaller room that had books. They left half that stuff undone. They went thru my papers in my office, I told them to leave the drawers alone. They emptied my drawers and went through my paperwork threw it all over the place only packed half the stuff on the deck. 

I told them I would appreciate it if they took the bedding off the bed and pack it. They ended up piling things on the bed on top of the quilt I wanted packed.  I repeated myself over and over again. They took forever they were here for over nine hours. I am trying to get some of my money back and will report them to the BBB. As far as customer service goes, a F. I cant get hold of the owner or anything. The two guys that showed up were nice they just didn't do anything right.

The first experience was great. Movers worked fast and thorough. Elite showed up after another mover did not show up earlier in the day. Then I called back this week to ask them to move a bedroom set. First of all, I tried three differentl phone numbers several times a day and kept getting voice mail. When I finally got a call back, there were apologies. I understand how things can get busy. That was no problem. I was requesting furniture to be moved any evening or any time on Saturday this week. (it was a Tuesday). I was told it might be possible if some schedules could be adjusted  and that I would receive a call back within an hour. The call never came. I called many times and nobody answered. I left messages and nobody ever called me back. I thought I had found good movers. I thought the least they would do is call back today and apologize but it is 4pm and not a word.  Very disappointed.
