Drywall Service
Basically I trusted them, so buyer beware. After paying and a promise to return, BEFORE the job was finished, the job was abandoned with substandard work. I was left to finish what I could and clean the mess they left. They ignored my phone calls and Gerald sent a text with an excuse for not completing the job, that I made the check out to the brother who was here working and did not use the company name, so anything promised was null and void! Apparently all the Clintons are not part of Clinton Renovations. The Clinton who was brought into my home to work wasn't suppose to be paid. Luckily for Gerald, he found an excuse to go on to his next victim without completing this job. They grossly underestimated the time it would take and they lacked supplies, measured wrong, did not use proper barriers on my carpets, filled my light fixture with dust and debris and tracked plaster into the hardwood floors. Gerald and Delbert disappeared to go to Lowe's the first day and I had to finally call to see why no one was here for several hours. Delbert and Gerald came back the next day, and this was the last time I saw Gerald until the text informing me he wasn't going to finish the job because I paid the only person here for days! Not only was the inside left a mess, so was the outside including a cigarette butt in the driveway. By his own admission Gerald said he knew his work looked substandard and he would make it right, because he didn't want a bad review. I had no plans to write a review, but needing to hire someone else to fix his work, gave me a great incentive to write one! I cancelled the newel post portion of the job right away and had them concentrate on the drywall; they didn't bother to get correct measurements and bought the wrong texture and size of boards, live and learn, that should have been my first clue! I saw Nathan Clinton on the first bid and not after that, Gerald Clinton was unable to fix the upstairs seam properly by his own admission and did not come back. Delbert Clinton did a good job on the garage seam, but where the light hit the kitchen seam, he went by the adage more is better. A week later I am personally still working on the job I paid them to do and there is still plaster outside even after all of the rain! I'm sure Gerald can come up with some excuses as to why this is a fluke review. I have attached pictures judge for yourself.
Response from Clinton Renovations
"This lady has no idea what she is talking about. First of all I went to this lady's house and gave her an estimate. She was needing this job done soon and I had no time to get to it right away. I told another guy about the job and I took him over to look at it. He agreed to do the job. I never received one dime from this person nor did I even do any of the work. If she can prove this was me or my company that did this I'd like to see it. There where no checks wrote nor any receipts given to or from my company."
